2024: Introduction of Tier II + DMR stations

Holding Roselectronics"" State Corporation Rostec on April 4, 2024 will present DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) level Tier II + base stations, which allow you to create distributed digital professional radio networks with a radius of up to 20 km.

These base stations, developed by engineers of the Sozvezdiye Concern (part of Roselectronics), allow the use of up to 8 communication channels, which significantly increases the subscriber capacity of the system. The equipment implements the trunking mode - automatic selection of the free communication channel when establishing a call. As of April 2024, two modifications of Tier II + DMR base stations have already been made for the 146-174 MHz and 401-486 MHz frequency bands.

The equipment is compatible with all existing domestic and foreign civil professional mobile radio systems of the DMR standard, protected from direct listening and allows you to form networks of different scales.

DMR equipment "Constellation" was accepted for supply by large enterprises of the fuel and energy and power grid complex of the country, as well as the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Russian Guard, and has already proven itself perfectly, providing reliable stable communication. The line of DMR Tier II + and Tier III devices will allow you to form a reliable communication loop at facilities as soon as possible. We are already working on four modifications of Tier III base stations, which are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024. The DMR line of the Constellation Concern's equipment also includes portable, automobile radio stations and a repeater. All devices have increased noise immunity, are resistant to external factors - vibrations, shocks, extreme temperatures and moisture ingress. Serial production of digital DMR radio stations has been ongoing since 2020.

2023

Obtaining THORP status

The entire line of civilian DMR radio stations of the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation received the status of telecommunication equipment of Russian origin (TORP). The assignment of this status was made possible thanks to the use of microcircuits developed and manufactured in Russia as part of the equipment . This was announced on November 2, 2023 by Roselectronics.

DMR radio stations mass-produced Voronezh Constellation Concern"(part of Roselectronics). The range of equipment includes DMR-P portable radios automobile , DMR-T radios, DMR-P repeaters, and their accessories. The devices operate in two frequency bands 146-174 MHz and 401-486 MHz. They are fully compatible with equipment from other manufacturers, protected from direct listening, have a range of up to 30 km, a built-in module/and GPSGLONASS an accelerometer.

Radio stations can make individual, group or emergency voice calls, send text messages, track subscriber coordinates, monitor the state or even position of the walkie-talkies. It is also possible to access the public telephone network when operating through a repeater. DMR radio stations have been tested with low temperatures, fire and foam and have already been accepted for supply to the EMERCOM of Russia and the Russian Guard.

The products use microcircuits developed and issued by order of the Sozvezdiye concern by the Voronezh Research Institute of Electronic Technology (part of the Element group of companies, a joint venture of Rostec State Corporation and AFK Sistema).

The status of THORP can be assigned only to the equipment, which uses domestic microcircuits of the first level, that is, developed and produced in Russia. Start of production of portable base stations for deployment of secure communication at 20 km

On June 16, 2023, Rostec announced the start of mass production of DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) portable base stations, which allow you to deploy a professional communication network with a radius of up to 20 km in a few minutes. The devices are protected from direct listening and are capable of working autonomously for up to 4 hours, the state corporation said.

The project is being implemented by the Sozvezdiye concern, which is part of the Roselectronics holding (in turn, it is a subsidiary of Rostec). The portable base station developed by the Sozvezdie concern includes a repeater, a six-meter telescopic mast with an antenna, high-frequency filters and a power source with built-in batteries.

DMR Base Station

The equipment is produced in modifications operating in the frequency bands 146-174 MHz and 401-486 MHz. The equipment supports individual, group and emergency calls, text messages and geolocation data. The device comes complete with five mobile radio stations and is also compatible with DMR equipment from other manufacturers.

2021: Inclusion in the TORP Register and the Unified Register of Russian Radio-Electronic Products

Digital civilian DMR radio stations of the Sozvezdiye concern (part of the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation) received the status of telecommunications equipment of Russian origin (TORP) and are included in the Unified Register of Russian Electronic Products. The status was assigned by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia on the basis of the conclusion of the Interdepartmental Expert council Roselectronics announced this on January 12, 2021.

The line of DMR equipment includes portable, automobile radio stations and a repeater. The devices are compatible with all existing domestic and foreign civil professional mobile radio communication systems of the DMR standard and can be used in railway transport, in the agricultural sector, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ambulances, logistics and transport companies, as well as in mining enterprises.

Introduction of locomotive DMR radio stations

Holding "Roselectronics" State Corporation Rostec October 21, 2020 presented locomotive DMR radio stations (Digital Mobile Radio). The equipment allows automatic uninterrupted digital radio communication and data exchange between locomotives, dispatch centers and railway stations. The production volume will be about 1,500 units per year, which will close the market demand for this equipment.

Digital radio stations allow automatic switching from one base station to another when the signal level decreases, thereby maintaining a stable communication composition along the entire path. This equipment is compatible with the communication technique used on railways, so it can be installed on all types of locomotives and used in both digital and analog networks. The radio stations are equipped with an adapter/, GPSGLONASS which allows you to determine and transmit the coordinates of the locomotive.

The presented DMR radio stations were developed by specialists of Elektrosignal JSC (part of the Sozvezdiye concern of the Roselectronics holding).

Launch of DMR radio stations into mass production

On August 10, 2020, the Roselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation announced the launch into mass production of digital civilian DMR radio stations (Digital Mobile Radio) at the facilities of the Ryazan Radio Plant. The production line, equipped with smart workplaces, was inspected by Sergey Sakhnenko, industrial director of the radio-electronic complex of Rostec State Corporation, during a working visit to Ryazan.

DMR equipment developed by the Sozvezdiye concern (part of the Roselectronics holding) includes portable, automobile and stationary radio stations. The devices can be used in railway transport, in the agricultural sector, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ambulances, logistics and transport companies, as well as enterprises in the mining industries.

The launch of serial production of DMR radio stations is a vivid example of the diversification of Rostec products. The range for the civilian market is based on the experience and competence of our enterprises in the field of military communications, which have proven themselves in the market. The presented radio stations have certificates of registration of the Department of Intellectual Property of the European Union (EUIPO). The documents received give the right to sell equipment in the European Union.

In the production of DMR radio stations, smart workplaces are used. A special software and analytical complex includes computer algorithm loaded operations for each product. The employee scanner reads barcode the product from the product that came to him for work and displays an interactive instruction with a sequence of steps. The system allows you to reduce the impact of the human factor, track the production cycle, record the actual labor intensity, and also store the history of all production operations performed for each product.

Prototypes of digital civilian DMR radio stations

On July 8, 2019, the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation presented prototypes of digital civilian DMR radio stations (Digital Mobile Radio). The devices are compatible with all existing domestic and foreign civilian professional mobile radio systems. The release of the first serial batch is scheduled for 2020.

These radio stations, developed by the Sozvezdie concern (part of Roselectronics), are presented in three versions - portable, automobile and repeater. The technical characteristics of all models are developed taking into account the prospects for their use in railway transport, in the agricultural sector, in industrial enterprises, in law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, ambulance and logistics companies.

The portable radio station provides high-quality digital communication at a distance of up to 10 km, and the basic one - within a radius of up to 30 km, the connection setting speed is 30 milliseconds. The presented communication means are distinguished by resistance to mechanical impact (shock), vibration, extreme temperatures, moisture ingress. The devices also have an improved interference protection and communication encryption system. This allows them to be used if necessary to quickly deploy a secure communication system in places with poor coverage of cellular networks.

The radio stations used domestic software and technical solutions of the Sozvezdiye concern, protected by patents of the Russian Federation. The design of the building was developed by the Artemy Lebedev Studio.

DMR radio station

The radio stations have successfully passed certification by the European Union Intellectual Property Authority (EUIPO), which gives the Constellation concern the right to sell this equipment in the EU member states and protects the technological and design solutions used from illegal copying.

Obtaining European Certificates of Registration

On May 7, 2019, Roselectronics announced that it was introducing a line of civilian radio equipment to the European market. The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has issued registration certificates for six DMR devices: automotive, base, wearable and portable radio stations, as well as two antennas for a portable radio station. The documents received give the right to the equipment developer JSC Concern Constellation to sell equipment on the territory of the European Union. Certificates also guarantee the company that until the actual start of sales of radio stations in the European market there will be no analogues of other manufacturers.

The European Union has a unified system for obtaining registration of industrial samples, which provides them with uniform protection in all 28 countries. The system is regulated by the activities of the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union. The validity period for the registration of an industrial sample in the EU is five years from the date of application. At the same time, the copyright holder can extend the protection period by one or several five-year periods until the maximum validity period of registration is 25 years from the date of submission of the application.

2018: Presentation of a line of civilian radio equipment

On November 27, 2018, Rostec announced that the Roselectronics holding would launch a line of civilian radio equipment on the world market, which includes portable, automobile and stationary radio stations. In the global market, the devices will compete with counterparts from manufacturers such as Motorola, Hytera and Kenwood. The industrial design of radio communications was developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio.
