Schneider Electric: The solution for production of electrical and thermal energy using gas-piston installations

On August 21, 2019 the Schneider Electric company presented the solution for industrial enterprises allowing to make independently electrical and thermal energy using gas-piston installations with a guarantee of return of investments. Thus, the company expanded the existing portfolio of services of the company for expense optimization on the electric power.

The proposed solution is designed to help the companies to switch to own electrical and thermal energy developed in the most effective combined mode. The enterprises will be able independently to receive the electric power at the transparent price which level guarantees Schneider Electric. In case of exceeding of this Schneider Electric level will undertake obligations for compensation of the arisen difference and will provide an agreed time frame of payback that does the presented solution obviously attractive to investments of our clients.

Transition to implementation of complex services for electricity generation by customers using solutions based on gas-piston installations is the next milestone in Schneider Electric development. We initially approve with customers all parts, including the final guaranteed electric power manufacturing cost, and are ready to compensate completely a difference if the stated economic effect is not reached — Sergey Semyonov, the director of business "Energy efficiency and sustainable development" in Russia and the CIS told Schneider Electric companies.

The presented solution on the basis of gas-piston installations is organically integrated in industrial and commercial facilities with hourly average electricity consumption not less than 1 MW. As for a question of payback of similar projects, two - and in some cases and triple decrease in final cost of the electric power allows to return the enclosed investments from one and a half to three years, depending on the region of business location in time, claim in Schneider Electric. A factor of high demand on such projects is the possibility of their implementation without initial costs within the leasing transaction: upon completion of leasing term the equipment will carry over the enterprise and will continue to make profit.

When implementing the project and during the service period specialists of Schneider Electric will conduct works on service of all equipment that will exempt the customer from contingencies and will allow to be focused on primary activity of the enterprise. Also, thanks to the high potential of projects to scaling, Schneider Electric offers programs of expansion of the electrogenerating power which will allow to satisfy at any time the increased customers needs in the electric power.
