On April 29, 2019 Samsung Electronics provided the TV which screen is configured for work in portrait orientation. This model which received the name The Sero is focused on Internet users who often remove and browse vertical content — video and photos received on the smartphone or the tablet when shooting in vertical orientation.

Samsung provided the vertical TV

Innovation is supplied with the 43-inch display on quantum points (QLED),  4.1-channel loudspeakers the power of 60 W and the voice assistant to Bixby. Resolution capability of the screen is not called. Most likely, it makes   3840 × 2160 pixels (4K).

Thanks to the special support going in a set, the TV it is possible to locate not only in portrait orientation, but also in traditional landscape. The support allows to rotate the display by 90 degrees — such opportunity, as a rule, meets at computer monitors.

As note in Samsung, at transfer of The Sero in the portrait mode users will be able to browse "vertical" materials without bands on the screen.

Besides, on the "vertical" display it is more convenient to watch pages of Instagram and other services, especially if under video comments are published.

The device supports technology of wireless communication of NFC which is applied to link establishment with the smartphone. In the TV access to a number of services, including to musical Samsung Music is implemented.

The beginning of sales of The Sero in the South Korean market is planned for the end of May, 2019. The cost of a product is known — 1.89 million Korean wons (about 105 thousand rubles at the rate of for April 30).[1]
