In Smolgu specialists of Galaktika remotely build a single digital platform of the university

2020: Beginning of creation of an ACS educational process

On March 26, 2020 the Galaktika Corporation reported that the Smolensk state university started project implementation of step-by-step creation of the automated control system for educational process based on the Galaktika ERP. All works on setup of a system are performed by specialists of Expert center of Galaktika corporation remotely that conveniently not only for regional educational institutions for cost reduction, but also is especially relevant in connection with an epidemiological situation in the country. At the same time project deadlines are guaranteed for obligatory timely transition of Smolgu to the digital platform.

The project will cover key divisions and processes of educational institution. The following tasks will be solved:

• Management of educational process, including planning of educational process, formation of curricula, calculation of an academic load of departments, load distribution on PPS
• Management of a receiving campaign
• Management of the contingent of students and accounting of progress of students
• Contract management on paid educational services
• Schedule of studies
• Creation of the internal web portal of the university including personal accounts of the entrant, student, graduate, teacher and employee of university
• Electronic document management of university

For university which owing to the objective reasons needs to make resolute breakthrough in digital transformation this project became strategic. The rector of university M.N. Artemenkov personally takes active part in preparation and project implementation.

For March, 2020 the project stage including installation of information systems on the equipment of the customer and setup of the main functional units is conducted. All receiving campaign of 2020 should be already waged using a system "the Galaktika ERP. Management of educational process" and the developed web subsystem "A personal account of the entrant".
