The Moscow Region manufacturer of laboratory and medical furniture "Labromed" has installed one of the largest robotic installations in Russia for three-dimensional printing of the building. This was announced in mid-October 2023 by the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

As part of this 3D printing project, the company produces a frame for a monolithic reinforced foam concrete house with reinforced formwork. For a smart robot, this is a task for 24 hours of continuous operation. By mid-October 2023, the printer prints a two-story building, which will house a center for training specialists to master a new profession. The equipment was supplied by the Stavropol company Smart Build, which promises that the building will be erected in two months.

The mechanism of operation is as follows: first, the computer selects the necessary program with drawings - a robotic installation can produce both typical and unique architecture structures. Then the specialists load the sand-concrete mixture into the robot. And then the technique works. At the same time, only three specialists will work at the construction site.

The creation of buildings, all kinds of structures, small architectural forms using a 3D construction printer is a new direction for Labromed. She plans to purchase 10 industrial robots from Smart Build. A training campus will be built to train specialists. Labromede's investments in the project will amount to 120 million rubles, about 60 jobs will be created at the enterprise. The company's management plans that in addition to domestic demand, the products produced will be exported. It is noted that all equipment and software for 3D printing, which is used by Labromeda, was produced and developed in the Russian Federation.[1]
