On February 28, 2019 the Softline company announced project completion on migration of "Alcoholic Siberian Group" (ASG) on Microsoft Office 365. Thanks to it, instead of several diverse e-mail clients employees of the customer use a single platform for joint work with documents, communication by e-mail and using messengers. The model of a subscription on which Microsoft Office 365 is provided will allow the customer to reorient a part of IT infrastructure on other projects, to transfer a part of costs from capital to operating rooms and by that to reduce the cost of ownership of the solution.

In the spring of 2018 the management "Alcoholic Siberian Group" (ASG) appealed to specialists of Softline to pick up the solution which will allow the staff of holding to adjust communication between structural divisions of the company within a single platform. It is especially important for ASG in conditions when business of the company grows at high rates, the number of employees increases, tasks become complicated and the presence geography extends. Also unification was required for reasons of information security (that confidential documents were not shared, for example, via public file hosting services) and for simplification of support of communication service.

Consultants of Softline suggested the customer to use Microsoft Office 365. This solution in addition to actually service of e-mail is proposed by functionality group chats Teams, the corporate messenger Skype for Business storage One Drive, the platform Share Point and other services.

The project was quite large-scale: migration of nearly one and a half thousand non-management employees and heads of divisions from five diverse mail systems continued about three months, parallel to Softline trained technicians in the most effective user scenarios of interaction with Office365. After migration of the main part of the ASG command top management of holding was transferred to a cloud platform for the integrated communications.

The cloud nature of Office 365 helped to save on the equipment and its support by the customer's forces and also on the server software. The current version of the office suite always is at the disposal of the user. Besides, in Office365 settings there is a functionality which allows to suspend licenses of specific users, for example, for holidays or for the period of calendar holidays and then to prolong use of Office365 for the corresponding period. Actually the customer receives more service from Microsoft for the same money, consider in Softline.

Main thing - "seamlessness" of processes of work. Let's tell, the user receives the document from the head, connects to editing colleagues, specifies parts according to the document in the working group through Teams, approves ready option with the head, discusses with it the document in the messenger or by video conference. At the same time all participants of process are sure that they work with the correct document. Conveniences were added also by a cross-platform entity of Office365. If earlier most of workers could get access to mail only from desktop computers, then according to the results of migration there was an opportunity to be in touch from any mobile device. Company executives especially noted advantages of Skype for Business and Teams which allow to hold working meetings online and to effectively organize joint work".
