2019: Control automation by production based on 1C:ERP

Specialists of Institute of Model Solutions LLC automated production management in Yarmarka trading house company. 1C system: ERP helped to accelerate calculation of specifications and to optimize management of ensuring production with raw materials and materials. Operational accounting of all production operations is organized. Control of passing of orders on a technology chain is strengthened. As a result accomplishment of orders in production accelerated twice, reported on November 26, 2017 in 1C Company.

Prerequisites

Daily TD "Fair" receives tens of purchase orders of products. Accurate coordination of work of a great number of specialists – purchasing managers and to sales, storekeepers, technologists, employees of production is necessary for their timely accomplishment. It is required to create quickly supplier orders and to support a necessary raw material stock and semi-finished products in a warehouse, to plan works orders and to manage a raw material feed on production sites, to control exact observance of compoundings and specifications.

Earlier for the solution of these tasks in the company different information systems were used, employees exchanged data and approved the actions using different messengers and e-mail, often it was necessary to request and recheck information repeatedly. As a result there were errors and disagreements during the processing and accomplishment of orders, for example, sometimes, that production turned out too much not urgent products while there were not enough goods for urgent orders. Customer orders were executed insufficiently quickly.

Tasks

The information system, new, uniform for all divisions, which would allow to adjust a regular supply of production by raw materials and semi-finished products became necessary for the enterprise, to organize operational order processing and to accelerate their accomplishment.

Choosing a Solution

For the solution of assigned tasks a system was selected"1C:ERP Enterprise management". "Institute of Standard Solutions — Production" (Institute of Model Solutions LLC) company became the partner in implementation.

Results

Key results of the project:

  • Management of ensuring production with raw materials and materials is optimized. All information on features of raw materials, semi-finished products and types of products is recorded in a system in specially created reference books. The possibility of setup of parameters of the resource specification and management of the normative reference information allows managers to create optimal descriptions of dependent properties of materials and finished goods. These properties and also the number of current orders and specifics of production phases of the ordered products automatically are considered when calculating materials requirement. It allows to plan quickly ensuring production and to transfer orders for execution. Duration of idle times and delays of execution of orders was reduced because of the shortage of materials.
  • In a system accomplishment of all production operations quickly is registered that allows the staff of production divisions to eliminate quickly delays in accomplishment of works orders. Passing of orders on production phases accelerated, on average, twice.
  • In a system information on a current status of orders is in real time available. The manager can quickly check the status of each specific order now and give the client the comprehensive information about his accomplishment: on what production stage the order is at present time when shipment is planned.
  • There was a possibility of advance planning of logistic transactions for delivery of raw materials from suppliers and shipment of finished goods to clients, it allowed to eliminate delivery failures almost completely.

Idle times and delays in accomplishment of orders are reduced, the speed of work of production divisions increased.
