United Metallurgical Company of OMK

United Metallurgical Company is the hi-tech integrated producer of rolling, pipes, a pipeline armature and connecting elements of pipelines and also railway wheels and automobile springs.

The supplier of pipes for main gas pipelines also provides the machine-building and transport industries of the country with a half of railway wheels and nearly two thirds of automobile springs.

History

2010: 6 enterprises and 26 thousand employees

In 2010 6 large enterprises of the metallurgical industry were a part of the company. The OMK enterprises are separated into two complexes at this time – pipe and metallurgical. More than 26 thousand people work at the enterprises of the company. The company provides 20% of all in-Russian deliveries of pipe products, including about 40% in a segment of pipes of large diameter, occupies more than 60% of the market of railway wheels.
