Developing innovations in the field of 3D - printings, recently announced HP production of the material called PP polypropylene which allows to reduce the number of waste due to 100 percent reuse of residual powder.

HP also increases use of the processed plastic materials in the products for printing and the personal systems. In 2019 HP used more than 25,000 tons of the processed secondary plastic that is equivalent to 9% of the volume of all plastic used by the company. HP works on increasing this indicator to 30% by 2025.

Also the company processed 771 tons of oceanic plastic that is equivalent to 60 million bottles, and released the first-ever notebooks, displays, mobile workstations and corporate chromebooks manufactured using this salvage. HP has in the portfolio 111 products which received the gold certificate of EPEAT, and 268 — the silver certificate of EPEAT.

In 2019 HP signed the partnership agreement with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and started the HP Sustainable Forest Collaborative project which purpose is recovery, protection and preserving more than 80,000 hectares of the wood that is equivalent to the square of New York. In five years of HP will transfer WWF of 11 million US dollars to recovery being under the threat of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and also to maintenance of the concept of steady management of state farms and forest plantations in China. In both countries of HP with assistance of WWF develops scientific research of the woods quantitatively to estimate efficiency of recovery actions.

2017: Growth of revenue by 8% thanks to notebooks
