LMS School: Class book

The Nienschanz company, one of the Russian software developers and the participant of AppleDeveloperProgram, provided in June, 2011 development for the Russian schools - an iPad-application "LMS Shkola the class book". The application allows to organize a mobile workplace of the teacher with an opportunity to keep the electronic class book.

"Most the Russian schools are still not equipped with modern computers and a licensed software for training automation, first of all owing to the financial reasons", Egor Polyakov, the head of automation Nienschanz notes. "At the same time last year the President of Russia set the task to provide maintaining electronic diaries and class books at each school".

Today arrangement of one computer with license software will cost on average 30-40 thousand rubles. Besides the school is required to be equipped with the server and a local network. And equipment of each teacher iPad tablet PCs will cost as much, however at the same time costs for creation of network infrastructure for workers the place of teachers are excluded (only the server with Internet connection is necessary). Besides, upon purchase of tablet PCs the license version of LMS is provided free of charge.

At this iPad3G which are equipped with Wi-fi and GPRS can work, both at school, and beyond its limits - in any place where there is a cellular communication and Internet connection.

The iPad-application developed by programmers Nienschanz Ltd is integrated with an end-to-end system of training management of LMS "School" and allows to organize interaction between teachers, administration of school, pupils and their parents. "LMS Shkola the class book" includes a broad spectrum of functions: in addition to maintaining the class book and diaries of pupils, the teacher has an opportunity to make the schedule, to get acquainted with excerpt from personal records of pupils, to browse and add declarations and reports. The application is also supported by access to a digital library of training materials. The demoversion of the application is already available in AppStore – search in the word "LMS".
