Many organizations should find alternatives to those information systems that have become or will soon become unavailable in Russia. Replacement of foreign software is impossible without replacement of system software and, in particular, DBMS class products. Our software package is included in the Unified Register of Russian Software and has great potential within the framework of import substitution,
noted Dmitry Akhtanin, head of software products and security solutions at LAN ATMservice.

2017: Unified Register of Domestic Software

The company "LAN ATMService" (part of the LANIT group of companies), registered in April 2017 a number of its own developments for ATMs in the Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases. Now M3 ATM Monitoring System, LanATM-I and Cerber SW Pack, as other products of the company, are recommended for purchase to government customers.

2013: PCI DSS Certification

LAN ATMservice, a member of the LANIT group of companies, completed certification of its software products in the spring of 2013 - the M3 ATM Monitoring System and the M3 Operation file exchange system, for compliance with international PCI DSS security standards. This audit ensures that banks - customers of the company - meet the latest security requirements in the industry, as well as allow them to reduce significant time and financial resources when undergoing an annual internal audit of PCI DSS.

The audit of LAN ATMservice software systems was conducted by a certified organization in the field of PCI Compliance. As part of the certification of the M3 ATM Monitoring System and the M3 Operation file exchange system, the complexes themselves were audited for compliance with international PCI DSS security standards, as well as verification of development processes and amendments to them. All tests were carried out on a test bench emulating the operation of the M3 ATM Monitoring System and M3 Operation applications. During the inspection, M3 software was installed and configured, a wide list of test transactions of the ATM was completed and the results of applications were analyzed. In the process of studying the source code, the auditors analyzed the function of removing (filtering) network traffic and the presence of vulnerabilities.

As a result of a thorough analysis of the results, experts of the expert organization found that M3 software complexes do not perform the functions of processing and storing payment card data, with the exception of filtering them using regular expressions. Filtering is carried out in a fully automated mode, without the possibility of third-party influence of users and changing the list of filtered data. Thus, it was concluded that the M3 ATM Monitoring System and the M3 Operation file exchange system meet the requirements of the PCI DSS standard.

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard information protection , abbreviated as PCI DSS, is a set of security requirements for cardholders developed by international payment systems, VISA MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover. The main goal of the standard is to increase the security of electronic trading and payment systems. The PCI DSS standard is mandatory worldwide, including in the CEMEA countries, which includes and. Russia It applies to anyone who transmits, processes and stores cardholder data.

2011: M3 ATM Monitoring System 1.2

The company LAN ATMservice released in June 2011 a version of the ATM monitoring system - M3 ATM Monitoring System 1.2. The software complex simplifies control over the state of ATMs, allows banks to reduce reaction time when servicing a network of terminals and is designed to increase the loyalty of bank customers to services related to the maintenance of plastic cards.

Updates to the monitoring system were made after marketing market research, as well as based on the analysis of the experience of implementing the previous version of the software complex. Based on the results of the surveys, in which banking IT specialists and business users participated, a detailed list of requirements for an "ideal ATM monitoring system" was prepared. The presence of feedback with future users of the system made it possible to orient the updated version of M3 ATM Monitoring System to business requests, make the solution more functional and at the same time - easy to use.

One of the key features of M3 ATM Monitoring System 1.2 is the full compatibility of software with ATMs of all major manufacturers - NCR, Diebold, Wincor Nixdof, Nautilus Hyosung, GRGBanking and others, which allows you to use the system in all credit organizations. The monitoring system receives information both from processing and directly from ATMs. In this case, an agent program is installed on the ATM, which integrates with all known types of terminal software without additional changes. The operation of the agent is independent of the terminal software and does not interfere with the operation of the ATM in the client mode, so that the monitoring system can be used both with software supplied by the ATM manufacturer (applications Agilis, Aptra, ProTopas, YDC) and with application applications of mulvendor solutions developers. The only condition for the monitoring system is the support of the TCP/IP transport protocol and the D912 or NDC + application protocols. At the same time, any new communication protocols are configured in the system without additional changes to the program code.

For the convenience of users, the new version of the system implements web-access technology. Now it is not necessary to install specialized software on operator workplaces - the system interface opens in a standard browser. In addition, the intuitive interface allows the operator to quickly obtain comprehensive information about the state of individual ATMs or the entire network: the dynamics of spending, the volume of transactions at each ATM or by group of devices and other reports on the effectiveness of banking terminals. The availability report illustrates the causes of downtime and the most common failures.

The system provides the possibility of remote file exchange, which allows downloading the electronic log of ATMs, remotely downloading new advertising images for greeting mode to terminals, reloading the ATM in case of a failure without going to the place. The system provides the operator with the possibility of preliminary scheduling of data transmission time and monitoring of this process at his workplace. At the same time, users are authorized using a domain login and password. Unlike the previous version, the updated system does not require the creation of a separate user base and passwords - you can use the existing corporate base.

It should also be noted that within the framework of service contracts for technical support specialists of LAN ATMservice, a web console is available that displays the real technical condition of ATMs. In case of a malfunction, the responsibility for solving the problem lies with the specialists of the service organization. This approach to the organization of service of the ATM network saves the bank from intermediate links - the service contractor takes full responsibility for the quality of ATM operations.

Pilot implementations of the system confirmed that the use of the new version of M3 ATM Monitoring System allows you to significantly reduce the labor costs associated with maintaining the ATM network. In addition, the level of availability of ATMs increases, which positively affects the loyalty of bank customers using plastic cards.
