Web client of Docsvision 15

On November 12, 2020 the company "DocsVision" announced release of upgraded version of the web client. In the 15th release functionality on setup was expanded without programming. Users and administrators EDMS will estimate high-speed performance of system operation: on the one hand, it became simpler to configure and support system operation, and on the other hand, tasks of how quicker to perform instructions and tasks in a system are solved. Also the DocsVision company recommends to use the updated 15th version of the web client at creation of a system with DBMS PostgreSQL or Postgres Pro.

According to the company, the web client allows to work with documents and tasks in the Docsvision system through internet-browser from any device. Thanks to broad functionality and availability, the web client is used in each implementation project of a system.

With each next version the interface of the web client optimizes work of the user. Now directly in the system interface users can browse documents, without intermediate downloading or use of third-party programs. Viewing, approval, signing and end – everything occurs in one window. In addition the speed and quality of work with a system were optimized thanks to the fact that users independently in setup of the profile can celebrate now dates when they are absent from work and to appoint the persons substituting them. Clerks will estimate function of check of uniqueness of the document which was not available in the web client earlier. This function is responsible for check of uniqueness of the registered document and helps to avoid duplication of data. The functionality of scanning of documents is in addition implemented. Now documents can be loaded directly directly into a document card after scanning without preliminary preserving of files in third-party storages.

The release of the web client of Docsvision, as well as the platform, develops towards solution low-code, i.e. gives to system administrators an opportunity for setup of the solution, but not its programming. In upgraded version completions in the designer which will accelerate work on setup of electronic forms and appearance of a system are made. For example, the line for search of controls in library appeared, the possibility of inheritance for transaction of editing and setup of display of a marking of the connected cards in marking of other cards is implemented (for example, the approved document in a task for approval).

The release of the web client is already available to all users of Docsvision since October 30, 2020.

Compatibility of "Docsvision 5 Web client" of version 14 with Astra Linux Common Edition OS release Oryol 2.12

On April 14, 2020 group of companies Astra Linux reported that together with the company "DocsVision" a complex of testings of compatibility of the platform for electronic document management and managements business processes of "Docsvision 5 Web client" of version 14 about operating system Astra Linux Common Edition release completed Oryol 2.12. The correctness of work of software products is confirmed officially by the certificate of conformity of Ready For Astra Linux. Now successful application of "Docsvision 5 Web client" in the environment of both Astra Linux OS as earlier similar tests were carried out under control of Astra Linux Special Edition is guaranteed to users.

Testing was held in the context of implementation of plans for import substitution in the field of IT.

During checks the automated workplace with the Astra Linux Common Edition operating system release Oryol loaded with cores of generic and hardened was used. On it installation, start and testing of functionality of "Docsvision 5 Web client" of version 14 were made. Results showed that products are completely compatible, and the web client of Docsvision correctly works in the environment of Astra Linux Common Edition OS.

Earlier "Docsvision 5 Web client" of version 14 successfully underwent similar certification with the special purpose operating system Astra Linux Special Edition release Smolensk 1.6.

Thus, the Russian organizations using any of operating systems of a line of Astra Linux and participating in the national project of import substitution can effectively apply "Docsvision 5 of the Web client" of version 14 in the work now.

2019

Web client of Docsvision 13

On September 27, 2019 the DocsVision company reported that it released the next version of the module Web client. The company continued to expand functionality. The provided version - already the 13th. Improvements of the current version concern functionality for users and developers of solutions on the Docsvision platform.

A number of updates will affect convenience of work with contractual documents: now all functionality of the application is without any limit available to users in the web interface. There was an opportunity to work with the reference book by partners not only in the choice mode, but to fully edit it. Features for creation of big archives and, in particular, work with sets of documents - for example, functions for work with barcodes were added. Sales opportunities of the business logic requiring interaction with applied software or the equipment – for example, with Microsoft Word are added at autoconsolidation of document revisions at approval.

In the context of expansion of geography of implementations Docsvision and creation of multilingual interfaces 2 regular localizations were added: on the Kazakh and Latvian languages.

The interface with each next version simplifies work of users. Directly in the interface it is possible to format the text as in the full text editor – in a number of scenarios it saves from need to create and put the document. It is possible to add to a card multimedia audio and video content, which is reproduced directly in the browser that also saves time and saves users from excess transitions. The same purpose use of active hyperlinks for access from a card to external and internal (in a system) answers resources. Became possible to execute transactions at once with several cards selected from representation. The version of the web client 13 – the first, left after the rebranding which is carried out by the company that certainly is reflected also in design of the interface.

At the level of architecture were executed numerous optimization for decrease in traffic between the server and the client, additional caches of anny are added. Optimization led to repeated increase in speed on a number of scenarios.

Web client of Docsvision 12

On April 8, 2019 the DocsVision company announced a release of the 12th version of the web client of Docsvision in which more than 80 different improvements, corrections and optimization are executed.

According to the developer, the architecture of the module was completely processed, the principles of storage of web marking, loadings of client scripts, data are changed, compression of traffic is added, a large number of improvements and optimization is made. The architecture became modular. All cards displayed in the web interface completely are configured in the graphic designer, for them 19 controls were added and, besides, several already available are improved. On their basis interfaces for all standard cards are configured and included in the version.

DocsVision noted a possibility of data filtering in mobile version, an opportunity to specify additional approving in approval and to create the subordinated approvals.

According to the statement of the developer, opportunities for creation and management of the solutions constructed in a web significantly improved. Setup of interfaces became multi-user, setup of the elements included in a certain solution became possible at the level of separate interfaces, the interface of a card can be tied not only to a role or a status of a card, but also to define own bindings. It is possible to create completely independent interfaces depending on device type. Mechanisms of unloading and loading of solutions and many other things are improved.

2017: Web client of Docsvision 8

On April 14, 2017 the DocsVision company released upgraded version of the web client of Docsvision (earlier "The easy client of Docsvision") and updating of the Designer of the Docsvision cards. Now customers and developers can visually project the system interface of electronic document management and adapt it to business needs.

The interface of the web client adapts depending on a context and a role of the user, type of the device with which the user works: notebook, tablet, phone. In the client everything that is configured/is configured in the Designer of cards – the automatic machine of statuses, a role model, the data scheme of a card is supported. Opportunities of setup of the client became more, than in classical Windows client. It and adaptivity for different devices, and a possibility of application of templates of CSS styles.

With the upgraded Designer of cards the customer has equal opportunities on setup of the interface and functionality of EDMS for clients – Windows and Web.

Today the companies vendors aim to provide to users access to all functions of a system via the web browser. We went a little further. Usually in attempt to repeat everything that the user has in the desktop application, the form overloaded with controls turns out. As it looks, I think, everyone can imagine. The web client of Docsvision is exactly "WEB", but not a mirror of a desktop system. The designer allows to configure the interface in that type to what users got used, working in the most popular Internet-applications. Appearance of controls, their arrangement, a data entry method, – literally everything can be changed for convenient and productive work. Now in Docsvision it is possible to create also backward-compatible program expansions for the web client. Despite modification opportunities, the Docsvision 5 platform provides backward compatibility: the project solution constructed using these tools and open API can freely be transferred to the subsequent versions of the web client of a system, without limiting the user in access to all product capabilities and allowing to save the made practices and skills of users.

Web cards of the Management of Documents built-in application are implemented on the designer, they can be edited in the course of setup of a system.

For April 14, 2017 the version of the web client of Docsvision (earlier "The easy client of Docsvision") – the eighth.

2016: Easy client 7

On February 19, 2016 the Doskvizhn company announced release in March, 2016 versions of the Easy client of Docsvision 7 – the module which will allow to work with documents and tasks by means of any web browser and any device.

Changes are made in design of the interface, work speed is increased.

Developers of the 7th version paid to the interface attention: it is completely processed taking into account trends of web development and wishes of users. Result – convenience in work with documents and tasks: the interface became simpler and is made "live", reacting to movements of a mouse of the user and prompting further actions. Adaptive imposition allows to work fully in the Easy client from the computer, phone and the tablet, having saved at the same time functionality.

In the future version there is an opportunity to edit document files without the need for preserving them on the computer. Support to the strengthened electronic signature was added to functionality – documents can be signed from the desktop computer or the notebook, from the mobile device.

2015: There was the following release "The easy client of Docsvision"

On August 28, 2015 the developer company announced a release of the version of the easy client of Docsvision. It provides execution of the main scenarios of work of the user of an electronic document management system by means of the Internet browser, without software installation^[1].

In release small demanded functions, a number of the changes directed to increase in convenience of work in Docsvision by means of the easy client are entered.

Structure of functionality

• Control of links: new control will allow to establish semantic connection between cards of documents and tasks (link) and also at end of a task to put a report file or the document in execution, creating a new card or choosing from among available.
• Support of templates: allows to use templates during creation of cards, minimizing time for accomplishment of such routine actions as creation of the same documents. The document template can be attached to a template of a card, then during creation of the document on this template there is a synchronization, and the data (attributes) completed in a card are transferred to a document file.
• Terms of tasks taking into account time: support of controls like Date/time was added, only Date was supported before.
• Parameter of end of the Date task - as the additional information upon completion of a task (end parameter) can be requested information in the form of Date from the user now.
• Possibility of shutdown of illumination of unread cards: in the necessary folders it is possible to disconnect illumination of unread cards.
• Optimization of performance is executed.

Changes in a part of a usability

• Changeable height of representations, absence in submissions of excess information (the user can independently change height of lines in representations).
• An opportunity to hide/open history (is by default hidden). Information, unnecessary for most of users, is hidden

• Automatic purpose of the final version added by a consolidator. When in the course of approval the responsible person (consolidator) prepares the final version and loads it with FS, now it is automatically appointed final. Before it was necessary final to appoint forced in couple of additional clicks it.

• Preserving of settings of columns of representations for the user. Settings which are done by the user in representations (for example, width of columns) remain for him personally. Earlier after transition to other folder or restart of the application everything was reset.

2014: Updating "Easy client of Docsvision 5"

On September 11, 2014 the Docsvision company announces a release of the version of the module Docsvision 5 the Easy client. The new version will provide expansion of possible scenarios of use of the module and also will add variability when using in custom solutions of partners and customers. It is no secret that work of the head, often, is connected with a large number of trips and business trips owing to what at automation of workflow processes sharply there is a question of need of use of mechanisms of substitution and an opportunity for work of the assistant. In the new version of the Easy client scenarios of work with tasks of deputies and assistants are completely supported.

The significant changes influencing opportunities and flexibility of use by partners of the Easy client in the solutions are support of parametrical search queries and expanded data views. It will allow to perform document retrieval with indication of necessary criteria and to build any reports, for example, reports on control of performing discipline. As well as in the Docsvision Navigator, data views in the Easy client support groupings, illumination of lines, sorting, display of any set of columns.

The possibility of use in the Easy client of the electronic digital signature for signing of documents became one more important innovation. The interface will allow to impose the signature, to obtain information on the electronic digital signatures which are available on the document and also to check their validity.

The easy client is focused, first of all, on the heads and users working with tasks therefore we did not avoid such key functionality as delegation of tasks. Existence of this opportunity in the Easy client of Docsvision will make work of the head of more comfortable. At delegation adding of comments, prohibition of further delegation, the indication of need of return from delegation is possible. Support of different options of end and requested at the same time from users of data gives more flexibility when using the Easy client in solutions of partners and customers of Docsvision.

One of the largest and important changes in the new version of the Easy client is support of a card Group of tasks - one of the main instruments of issue of instructions according to the document. The group of tasks allows to specify several contractors at individual preferences of a task for each contractor. Need of this functionality is caused, besides, by target audience of the client.

Users of the Easy client of Docsvision will estimate the updated interface of a card of a task: now in a task it is possible to see all document files without the need for opening of a card of the document. Files open on a preview in the same window, with an opportunity to leave directly in it comments.

Changes concerned also work with folders. The possibility of adding not only a physical, but also virtual folder or the folder delegate will significantly expand from a position of the user of an opportunity on the organization of own workplace in the Easy client, will increase efficiency in is mute. Work with any kinds of documents without restrictions – one more innovation of this version - will expand borders of use of the module by users of Docsvision.

The easy client provides support of processes of approval - as created using the module Designer of Approvals, and simple approvals of the Docsvision Managements of Documents built-in application. The easy client of Docsvision 5 is available in all partner network of the DocsVision numbering more than 100 companies across all Russia.

2013

Updating "Easy client of Docsvision 5"

The DocsVision company announced on September 30, 2013 release of the update of the product "Easy Client of Docsvision 5". The application is released at the beginning of June, 2013. The product allows to work in the Docsvision system via the Internet browser, ensuring easy functioning with documents and tasks in the mode of the main user scenarios.

By application programming special attention is paid to the user interface. Important plus is ease of setup – the solution is ready to work right after installation. Work in the most popular browsers of any operating systems is supported.

In the new version support of discretionary and role security is implemented, search capabilities are expanded – full-text search, on document attributes is available.

The full-function cycle of approval of documents is added:

• select any route of approval,
• add participants,
• set approval terms,
• monitor its status.

The functionality of setting of tasks for control is improved. Opportunities for development of own solutions based on the application are expanded – SDK for developers of own easy solutions on the Docsvision platform is released.

Easy client of Docsvision 5. Description

For June, 2013 "The easy client of Docsvision 5" — the client application for the Docsvision 5 system intended for work with a system from a browser window. Using the application the user gets access to Docsvision from any computer provided with Internet access and the Internet the browser. The main destination of the client — work with tasks and documents in the mode of the main user scenarios of work.

"The easy client" allows to obtain information on the new tasks and documents requiring attention of the user to create tasks and documents, to approve documents, using "easy" forms of cards, to perform search. The application also allows to create individual solutions based on the platform that gives unlimited opportunities for expansion of functionality together with development of the Docsvision platform. During the work with "The easy client" installation software and client components of Docsvision on the user's computer is not required, the solution is set up and ready to work right after installation. The solution supports work in browsers Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Safari on any of the operating systems supported by the listed browsers.

"The easy client of Docsvision 5" distinguishes from earlier versions higher access rate. Average speed of opening of cards is only 0.35 pages. Qualitatively new design and the interface adapted for key scenarios of work of the user also has the appendix.

2011: Appointment of DocsVision of the Easy client

For July, 2011 DocsVision the Easy client is intended for limited work with a system from a window browser and gives to the user the chance to get online access to DocsVision from any computer, provided with Internet access, and internet- the browser. Feature of this module is that work with DocsVision does not require installation additional software including installations of client components DocsVision. Upgraded version of the module allows not only to browse, but also to edit files and cards of tasks (state change, input of parameters of end, delegation); users can also perform advanced search in DocsVision, export data, displayed in folder contents view pane, in files of the.csv format.pdf,.rtf and.xls and to work with cards in web representation ("easy" forms of cards).
