The Softline company completed delivery of the KOMPAS-3D system for the Khabarovsk shipbuilding plant.

Background

The growing rates of production delivered plant's management before need of business process optimization. But without sharp increase in expenses it was possible only upon transition to the modern software. The Khabarovsk shipbuilding plant asked for the help in the choice of necessary IT solutions specialists of Softline company. Having studied the purposes of the enterprise, Softline suggested to use KOMPAS-3D automated design engineering system.

Opinions and expectations

"In recent years it is much told about need of large-scale upgrade of the Russian ship-building industry. One of conditions of this upgrade is transition of the enterprises to modern information technologies, – ASCON the partnership director Evgeny Shuvalov notes. – Having implemented using the company Softline KOMPAS-3D, Khabarovsk shipbuilding plant had an opportunity of fast, reliable formation and execution of documentation in compliance both with state standard specification, and with the standards adopted at the enterprise. As a result use of a system noticeably will reduce design terms, having minimized quantity of errors. It is already big step on the way to upgrade".
