DeskWork Enterprise

The Softline company announced in September, 2011 an exit of a new set of Enterprise of the fifth version of the DeskWork corporate portal. Enterprise is established on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 that considerably increases opportunities for work on the portal: users receive functionality of 44 unique modules DeskWork 5 Standard and all modules Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.

The set of DeskWork 5 Enterprise intended for work on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and using it functionality includes also functionality of a set of DeskWork 5 the Standard, but has from it a number of technology differences: the module the address directory uses the mechanism of user profiles SharePoint Server; the master of the page of the portal use functionality of SharePoint Server; the personal node uses the mechanism of the personal SharePoint Server nodes; the mechanism of localization is adapted for SharePoint Server; the installer allows to set DeskWork along with SharePoint Server or in the mode of updating of the existing SharePoint Server; a possibility of installation together with MS FAST Search Server 2010 for use of advanced corporate search; control of unique visitors for informing on compliance with the number of the purchased licenses.

The DeskWork corporate portal is the ready-made solution which is implemented for the minimum time with the smallest budget. The DeskWork corporate portal serves as uniform point of entry to information resources of the company and does work of employees of more productive due to joint work with information placed on the portal, the effective organization of its storage and means of search. 2014: DeskWork Q1 2014

On April 2, 2014 Softline announced release of DeskWork Q1 2014.

Description

A system for joint work of DeskWork is created on the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform and provides functionality, both for individual, and for group work, on projects and divisions, including - with a possibility of the invitation of third-party users. The solution creates a convenient and comfortable environment of interaction of project teams, helping to work with tasks, to store documents and to organize productive communication.

All business blocks of the portal - Basic, Management of Requests, Express document flow, Universal Messages, Video conferences, Center of Tasks and "Graphic Composer of Business Processes" - represent the complex promoting solving of tasks of any enterprise using opportunities of MS SharePoint 2013:

• "The graphic composer of business processes" does possible transfer of workflow from one node, the list or library on another where the similar solution is set.

• "Video conferences" locate opportunities of opening of the presentation in the full screen, managements of switching of slides from the keyboard (and special panels of the speaker). Each participant at the event can estimate the report then on the page of information on a conference the GPA of its assessment by audience appears.
