System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 at the Ufa legal institute

The Ufa representative office of Softline announces project completion on system implementation of management of IT infrastructure based on Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 at the Ufa legal institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (FGKOU a Higher Professional Education of UYuI Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation).

FGKOU of a Higher Professional Education of UYuI Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation – educational institution of higher education of a system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The main objective of institute is the release of highly-skilled employees of internal affairs.

All educational process of FGKOU of a Higher Professional Education of UYuI Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is focused on application of information technologies: in learning process the presentations are actively used, testing is held using remote educational technologies for a uniform information and telecommunications network of law-enforcement bodies, the park of computers increases every year, there is a full text digital library.

Before implementation of the project control of IT infrastructure was exercised manually that took away a lot of time. With respect thereto there was a task of automation of the software deployment, control of computers and their unification and also the analysis which is available program and the hardware. For implementation of tasks the management selected the solution System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 of Microsoft corporation. The leading role in this choice was played by monitors of the existing information systems and a possibility of automation of software deployment and operating systems on the basis of the analysis of a technical and program configuration of each specific system.

All process of implementation and tuning of a product under specific objectives of institute were performed by specialists of Softline who carried out the analysis of the available infrastructure and within several days organized solution deployment with a detailed explanation for the customer of each step of the performed operations. Also the introduction course in the basics of SCCM for employees of UYuI Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation which independently implemented deployment of images of machines in computer classes was conducted.
