Industry specifics of implementations of HRM in Russia
In 2017-2019 the greatest number of HRM implementations was implemented in trade and the financial sphere.

2019
As of September, 2019 the TAdviser base includes information about 2832 HRM projects. Most often they are implemented in trade and the sphere of financial services - 13% and 9% respectively. On the construction industry about 8%, 6% - are the share of engineering enterprises. Such is statistics of distribution of HRM projects for all history of observations of TAdviser.
If to consider the projects executed in recent years, namely for 2017-2019, then leading there are same industries, first of all trading and financial companies.
2016-2017
According to the statistics of projects of TAdviser base as of December, 2017, the projects executed in the companies of the sphere of trade (13%) most often meet. 9% of projects are the share of the sphere of finance, 8% - of construction companies. Also quite often personnel management systems are implemented in a public sector (6%) and mechanical engineering (6%).
If considers the projects executed in 2016-2017, then the five of the most popular industries for HRM to look a little differently. For this period the TAdviser base was replenished on 50 projects in trade, 44 projects in a public sector and 22 projects in construction. 20 more projects were the share of housing sector, 12 – of the IT companies.
2013-2014
According to own base of the HRM projects of the TAdviser Center, in 2013 and for the first quarter 2014 top-10 the leading industries on the level of activity of control automation by personnel remained invariable, there are no shifts in the top ten also.
Leadership in the number of implementations of HRM systems was reserved by trade: only 241 projects or 11.5% of the total number of projects in base for April, 2014 (2097), from them in 2012 54 projects, in 2013 – 23 projects are implemented.

On the second and third place, practically without lagging behind from each other, the financial industry and the industry of mechanical engineering (about 170 projects of implementations of HRM in everyone that makes a little more than 8%). Construction (162 projects), a public sector (119) close the first five, further they are followed by a food industry, transport, science and education, pharmaceutics and medicine and also power.

The largest HRM projects are implemented first of all in the industrial companies. In 2012-2013 implementation of ALP Group (KT-ALP, ALP-IS) for Russian Post where the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" system is installed on 6 thousand jobs became one of the largest projects in this segment of the Russian market of business software.
In the first three also system implementation "Galaktika ERP: A guidance loop personnel" in Far Eastern Generating Company on nearly 2.9 thousand jobs and also the project based on HCM SAP ERP for RusHydro on 2.6 thousand jobs.

In 2014 and further respondents of TAdviser system integrators expect demand for HRM in such industries as production and services and also in trade and constructions that repeats trends of previous years. Maxim Uvarov, the deputy chief of department of the corporate Informkontakt projects also added that recently as regards HRM projects the defense industry considerably became more active: the enterprises receive significant financing therefore they think not of how to make cheaper and how correctly to make and to win in the long term due to growth of system effectiveness of human capital management of the enterprise.
2012
According to TAdviser for February, 2013, from the HRM projects provided in base of portal 1782 in the different industries most often automation systems of personnel management were used in trade (190 projects), the sphere of finance (161 projects), in mechanical engineering and instrument making (156), in construction (138 projects) and also in a public sector (99 projects).

Data for 2012 separately demonstrate that the companies of the same industries were most active in implementation of HRM systems: the sphere of trade saved the first place on number of projects (38), construction (29), mechanical engineering and instrument making (23), a public sector (23), science and education followed further (18). The companies of the sphere of finance did not get to the first five in 2012 at all that, probably, is connected with the high level of automation, reached in this sector of economy. The last is fair also for the companies of the sector of an oil and gas industry and power which along with financial companies traditionally are in vanguard of implementation of IT systems, but not in this specific case.

At the same time in 2012 the largest HRM projects were implemented in power, trade, a telecom, mechanical engineering and instrument making and also in the industry of mineral extraction what the chart of distribution of cumulative number of licenses of the personnel management systems installed in the different industries given below confirms.

In Russia the oil and gas industry and the financial sphere were the first industries which implemented HRM systems. That circumstance that these companies were the first gave them big odds in comparison with the enterprises of other vertical industries. And now in the oil and gas industry and finance implementation of already so-called "highest" control functions by personnel is conducted : this training and creation of career, personnel recruitment, costs planning on personnel, i.e. is conducted development of already existing HRM platforms. It is confirmed also by data of TAdviser for 2013: on number of the implemented projects finance, power and an oil and gas industry are not leaders any more.
On the contrary, masterings of HRM by 2013 gained the enterprises of the sphere of trade, especially retailers the lead. The sector develops violently, felt staff shortage, there are absolutely specific objectives which can effectively be solved only using the automation equipment, for example, this planning of flexible hours of changes.
Due to the close attention of the state to the sphere of labor protection – on industrial enterprises becomes recently the system of labor protection which was more and more demanded automation which includes certification of jobs, production medicine, actions for accident prevention, and their investigation.
Among integrators in the trade industry in 2012 the maximum quantity of projects was implemented by 1C Company: The first BIT (nearly 29% of all projects in the industry), in construction is in the lead the same system integrator (17.6% of projects). Besides, 1C: The first BIT won first place on number of projects and in two other industries - a public sector and education from shares of 17.7% and 13.7% respectively. In mechanical engineering and instrument making on the first place there was a Galaktika Corporation from 8.4% of all projects.

2011
According to TAdviser for 2011, the greatest number of implementations of HRM in Russia are the share of the financial services industry, investments and audit - 94 implementations from number 624 of the projects placed in TAdviser base.

With a small gap from financial companies on number of HRM projects there are enterprises of mechanical engineering and instrument making and trade, they share among themselves the second and third place with 54 and 53 projects respectively. Outside the first three and with rather parity results - such industries as the food industry, a public sector, pharmaceutics and medicine, transport, construction and production of construction materials, oil industry and power.
