The warehouse of Dairy Lodge will be automated using RS-Balance 3 WMS

The warehouse management system RS-Balance 3 WMS will be implemented in Dairy Lodge company which is a dealer of dairy holding "Molvest" (joint stock company dairy plant "Voronezhsky") – one of leaders in the food industry of the Central Chernozem region. Products of the company are turned out under the Vkusnoteevo trademark which became a brand of the national level.

Within the forthcoming project activity of recently opened warehouse of Dairy Lodge company in Voronezh, including all basic warehouse processes will be automated: acceptance, placement, selection, inventory, movement and shipment of goods. Also the problem of billing for accounting of work of personnel and calculation of rates for the performed works will be automated. Besides, RS-Balance 3 WMS will be integrated with already available accounting information system of the company.

Work with goods which expiration date is limited demands from personnel of a warehouse of special attention and constant control. The functionality of the RS-Balance 3 WMS system will allow Dairy Lodge to raise the profit of the company due to decrease in losses at goods quality loss. Automatic tracking of expiration dates by the principle of FEFO, optimization of quantity and motion speed of goods — all this is extremely relevant for perishable dairy products which expiration date makes no more than 30 days.

The project startup is going to be performed until the end of 2011.
