OJSC NCSP is a key channel for the supply of Russian imported and export cargo. NCSP accounts for about 20% of the total cargo turnover of Russian seaports.

The versatility of the equipment gives NCSP OJSC the opportunity to process all the main types of cargo transported by sea - bulk, bulk, mixed cargo and containers and respond in a timely manner to changes in the structure of cargo traffic.

Novorossiysk Port is located in the northeastern part of the Black Sea, is the largest seaport in Russia and ranks fifth among the largest ports in Europe. This is the only universal ice-free deep-sea port of the Southern Basin of Russia, allowing year-round navigation.

Novorossiysk is located at the intersection of international transport corridors connecting Russia with the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Africa, South and Southeast Asia, North and South America.

The Group's freight turnover in 2015 amounted to 139.7 million tonnes. Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port serves about 45% of the group's total cargo.


OJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (OJSC NCSP) provides a wide range of stevedoring and port services and is the largest port operator in Russia. The Group includes: NRT, NLE, IPP, NCSP Fleet, NSRZ, PTP, BSK.

Performance indicators

2023: Revenue growth by 18% to RUB 29.15 billion

According to the results of work in 2023, Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP) earned 29.15 billion rubles in revenue, which is 18% more than a year ago at 24.72 billion rubles. The company's net profit also increased - by 7.4%, to 29.35 billion rubles from 27.32 billion rubles in 2022. Such data on RAS were released at the end of March 2024.

By the end of 2023, NCSP's long-term liabilities decreased by 700 million rubles compared to 2022 - from 11.9 billion to 11.2 billion rubles. Short-term liabilities more than halved from 9.6 billion rubles to 4.5 billion rubles.

NCSP earned 29.15 billion rubles in revenue

The gross profit of the port in 2023 turned out to be equal to 17.9 billion rubles, rising by 23.8% on an annualized basis. Profit from sales from NCSP in 2023 increased by 26.1% and amounted to 16.1 billion rubles, income from participation in other organizations rose 2.2 times, to 17.8 billion rubles.

Operating cash flow of NCSP in 2023 amounted to 15.9 billion rubles. The balance of cash flows from financial operations is -22.06 billion rubles, according to the company's statements.

NCSP recalled that in August 2023 a federal law "On excess profit tax" was adopted, in accordance with which the company recognized an estimated obligation on excess profit tax in the amount of 242.483 million rubles.

As of the end of 2023, Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port ranks third among European port operators in terms of cargo turnover, and is the leader in the Russian stevedoring market in this indicator. The holding's assets are located in Novorossiysk (Krasnodar Territory), Primorsk (Leningrad Region) and Baltiysk (Kaliningrad Region). The largest shareholder of NCSP is Transneft[1] by[2]

Of the top 5 largest ports in Europe in terms of cargo turnover, two are in Russia: Novorossiysk (third place, almost 143 million tons of cargo) and Ust-Luga (fifth place, 109 million tons).
