Since its inception, the Association of NP Opora and Opora Rossii have positioned themselves as a single project - the public institute for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

As of March 2022, the organizations of the Opora and Opora Rossii NP have common goals and objectives, the general leadership is a single President and Executive Directorate, a single brand and symbols of Opora Rossii, industry commissions and committees in areas of activity.

In 2018, the NP Opora was transformed into the Association "Non-profit Partnership Association of entrepreneurial organizations" Opora "(Association" NP Opora ").

2017: Launch of IT Business Accelerator with Softline Venture Partners

In October 2017, Opora Rossii, together with Softline Venture Partners, began accepting applications from teams creating IT solutions to participate in a business accelerator. Applications are accepted from projects that have existing prototype solutions. The innovative partner of the project was the IT cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation.

The accelerator focuses on projects in the fields of cloud technologies, mobility, information security, the Internet of Things (IoT), digital technologies (digital), machine learning ( ML) and artificial intelligence ( AI). The accelerator's goal is to help projects finalize the product, adjust and optimize processes that help scale the business. According to the results of the acceleration, the teams that showed the most convincing development results will be able to receive investments in the amount of 10 million rubles.

For the first time, Opora Rossii is taking such a serious step towards high-tech business and IT startups. We plan to increase the number of IT projects in the structure of our organization and expect to do this together with venture market experts - the Softline Venture Partners Foundation, "said Andrei Shubin, executive director of Opora Rossii.

Within the framework of the accelerator, according to him, such conditions are created for projects when, without leaving the walls of the Support of Russia, they can receive community support for the development and adaptation of the product, building a sales and marketing strategy, as well as take advantage of opportunities to promote their project among investors both within the Support of Russia, among interested state structures and large corporations, and beyond.

Teams with ready-made market solutions or prototypes are invited to the accelerator. Acceptance of applications is open from October 4 to December 1, 2017 inclusive on the website opora-innovation.ru. Project acceleration will take place from December 2017 to February 2018. In March, at its end, a demo day will take place where you can see the achievements of the projects. The site for the accelerator's events will be the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

According to Elena Volotovskaya, Vice President of Investments of Softline Group of Companies and Head of Softline Venture Partners Foundation, the main advantage of the accelerator is the ability to "accelerate time": with the help of expert recommendations, access to a wide base of contacts and the preparation of an understandable "roadmap," projects develop much faster and earlier achieve the intended results.

Accelerator participants will learn from business leaders, have access to wide opportunities for refining and testing products and technology solutions, including aspects such as refining the product for its successful launch, protecting intellectual property, building a financial model, finding investors specific stages, etc. Experts of the accelerator will be leading specialists of Opora Rossii, Softline Venture Partners and Skolkovo, as well as accelerator partners.

The main goal of the activity of OPORA RUSSIA as of November 2011 is to promote the consolidation of entrepreneurs and other citizens to participate in the formation of favorable political, economic, legal and other conditions for the development of entrepreneurial activity in the Russian Federation, which ensure the effective development of the economy.

The Organization has 80 regional offices - from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, which protect the rights of entrepreneurs in the field.

As of November 2011, NP OPORA unites more than 125 NGOs throughout the country.

2002: Creation of the all-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized enterprises "Support of Russia"

Organizationally, the Association "NP" OPORA "builds its activities on the basis of the Cooperation Agreement with the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises" Opora of Russia, "the creation of which on September 18, 2002 became a logical continuation of the activities of the Association" Opora "- heads of branch business unions and associations for the development of dialogue with the authorities at the federal and regional levels.
