Private Trusted Cloud

The first partner of IBM in promotion of a "hybrid" cloud in the Russian market became I-Teco companies. The integrator will provide services based on architecture of Cloud Computing Reference Architecture developed using software of IBM Tivoli and IBM WebSphere.

It is said in the official statement of the companies that by means of I-Teco the full range of services will be available to the Russian enterprises to creation of private cloud environments (Private Trusted Cloud) based on own data center of TrustInfo integrator.

I-Teco says that the clients of DPC who are already using solutions of virtualization are akivno interested in cloud services. It is confirmed also by these researches IBM CIO Study 2011 according to which 60% of Chief information officers called them one of the main priorities of development of IT infrastructure, Andrey Filatov, the deputy director general of IBM in Russia and the CIS said.

TAdviser to I-Teco was added that service already has five clients.  It is planned that until the end of the year five more companies will become clients, and with 20 companies negotiations are conducted.

The distinctive feature of new service is that the IBM company proposes a complete cloud solution which covers all processes: both automation, and monitoring, and management of IT resources. Other vendors are still ready to provide cloud services in separate segments, explained TAdviser in the press service of integrator. 

As experts of Softline commented on TAdviser, hybrid clouds gain popularity as give an opportunity to solve problems with which public clouds can not always cope. "Solutions of such grandee of the market as IBM, always had success with customers, and the cloud solution of vendor will not be an exception. Of course, similar solutions exist in the market now, but the reputation of IBM allows to assume that it will be one of the best", - noted in the company.

I-Teco will provide cloud services of IBM based on own DPC TrustInfo

Anton Nagov, the head of cloud services "Outsourcing 24", estimates perspectives of commercial success of new type of service of I-Teco as "frostily positive". On the one hand, the system integrator received base for creation of cloud solutions and exempted itself from need "invent the bicycle". On the other hand, success of service in the market will depend on that how qualitative and interesting products I-Teco will offer the market based on the new IBM platform, he commented on TAdviser.

According to Anton Nagov, implementation and effective use of the western technologies in Russia often meets certain difficulties. "In Europe it is as simple to lease the necessary cloud service how to go outside and catch the taxi. Customers are focused on use of new developments, are ready to eat the developed culture of consumption and provision of services. In Russia historically business trusts business less and it is the pacing restraining factor of development of clouds", - the expert says.

In particular, services will be available to the Russian clients IaaS PaaS SaaS. A core of the platform is new development of IBM in the field of autonomous calculations – the software of IBM Service Delivery Manager providing automation of deployment of IT services, monitoring of resources, cost management and high availability of services in "cloud". The complex includes components for providing computing, disk and network resources with a possibility of a flexible configuration of services in the automatic mode.

Evgeny Shchepilov, the commercial director date cent TrustInfo, said that "the effect of implementation of the new platform will be up to 95% of economy of labor costs for integration, resource allocation and management of data storage in comparison with configuring of the similar systems manually".

In a range of the "cloud" offers of IBM available to clients TrustInfo, is present also the solution IBM Smart Business Desktop Cloud which provides infrastructure of virtual PCs (VDI) due to providing access to standard jobs from the thin clients or other devices connected to network.

It is one of the most perspective directions of application of cloud models allowing to reduce the total cost of ownership of the PC park and also to provide recovery of user data by 20-40%, partners say.

Within start of a cloud platform in I-Teco the interface of the portal of self-service of clients will be implemented, as a part of a cloud platform there are also tools of statistics of use of services and vostrenny billing. All components of a complex are reserved for ensuring the highest reliability, the planned availability of services – 99.99%.
