The Kazan branch "1C-Rarus" executed the project of automation of information and technology service in transport holding "Tatneft Transservis" using software "1C:ITIL" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. The management of holding received the single centralized information system which allows to exercise control and to manage internal IT services. The efficiency of work of IT service is increased: now for the same time 3 times more requests are serviced. 450 jobs are automated.
Tatneft Transservis Management Company LLC is formed in 2006 in the course of restructuring of a transport complex of JSC Tatneft. 13 child managed companies located in different regions of the Republic of Tatarstan including the city of Kazan are a part of Management company. Now in operation at Tatneft Transservis there is modern and multifunction equipment in number of more than 3.7 thousand units: passenger, cargo and special transport.
Rapid growth, development of activity of the company in Russia and the CIS led to increase in number of employees. Respectively the park of personal computers, office equipments, software products used at the enterprise increased.
Earlier in the company only quantitative account of 600 units of office equipment and personal computers in 14 geographically distributed enterprises, without binding to users and jobs was kept. Requests from users were accepted chaotically at what stage of execution there is a request, it was impossible to trace. The same problems could be solved by the different staff of department of IT, as a result there were work types duplicating each other.
The end-to-end information system on management of IT services allowing was required for Taneft-Transservis company:
- Adjust accounting of IT assets and office equipment, available.
- Provide accounting of requests for the solution of internal IT problems and control of their execution.
- Create the structured knowledge base on the resolved issues.
The company management stopped the choice on "1C: Itil.Upravleniye information technologies of the enterprise. Standard". This recently released product on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform is already used in a number of the companies and received good reviews. Besides at acquisition of this product there is an opportunity to use already existing licenses "1C:Enterprise 8". As the contractor the 1C-Rarus company having long-term experience on accomplishment of large corporate projects and being the old partner of Tatneft Transservis holding was selected. Implementation was performed in a short time – 1.5 months. A system was unrolled in 450 workplaces in 14 enterprises.
During implementation the complete inventory of all personal computers, office equipments, supplies was carried out. Each asset was assigned to a certain workplace and the responsible person. As a result received reliable accounting of 100% of assets (no more than 50% of assets were considered earlier).
After putting into operation of a subsystem Management of requests control over the implementation of requests from users for the solution of internal IT problems began to be exercised. The efficiency of problem solving grew by 3 times, and the speed of reaction to the address twice. The volume of paper document flow was reduced, labor productivity of staff of department of IT grew, 20 working hours in a month of each of specialists were on average released.
Now in an information system accumulation of the relevant knowledge base according to technical, technology and methodological issues is conducted. Its use already allowed to reduce the number of repeated works, to make use of the collecting experience.
