GMCS transferred Altyntau Resources to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

JSC Altyntau Resources, hi-tech producer of gold in Kazakhstan, upgraded to the new version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. The project is executed in partnership with GMCS company within development of a corporate information system of management of the gold mining company.

The choice of GMCS by the contractor of the project was caused by presence at the company of experience of implementations Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 in Russia and the CIS countries and also positive recommendations from Microsoft and clients.

The tasks delivered to JSC Altyntau Resources before GMCS included transfer of a management system of the gold mining company to the version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 from earlier version, optimization current and automation in the system of new business processes.

At the moment the block of financial management is transferred to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 (accounting, fixed asset accounting and intangible assets, conducting settlings with partners, the cash accounting and the financial investments). In short-term plans of development of the project automation of tax accounting according to requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and using the solution GMCS Reporting for management of the universal reporting and also automation of conducting an application campaign is supposed.

Long-term plans of development of the project are connected with automation in Microsoft Dynamics AX of 2009 processes of budgeting and maintenance and repairs of the equipment (TORO) based on the specialized solution of GMCS EAM. Besides, implementation of integrated solution of an electronic document management system using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Workflow and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 is planned.

"Feature of the project is that in addition to transfer of the current functionality of a system, including own modifications of JSC Altyntau Resources, we reviewed rules of use of uniform analytical model for branches and DZO of the customer according to the changed requirements concerning accounting on section of finished goods and the production cost accounting", – Ruchkin Dmitry, the director of consulting, department of products Microsoft, GMCS company notes.
