In Stroygazconsulting holding transportation costs took under strict control

The Omnicomm company completed the first stage of system implementation of satellite monitoring of transport and control of Omnicomm fuel in vehicle fleet of construction holding "Stroygazconsulting" (SGK).

Condition

The management of Stroygazconsulting made the decision - to improve a control system over vehicle fleet and to analyze costs for its contents at the enterprises remote from the head company. The management of holding knew that in some cases fuel dump on some units of heavy machinery made up to 100-200 liters a day. These scandalous examples of negligence of driver's structure were also the reason of making decision on mass system implementation of control.

Having tested proposals of different producers, Stroygazconsulting selected the most acceptable of them for the company and, in particular, stopped on GLONASSGPS system implementation / monitoring and control of Omnicomm fuel. Besides that the solution of Omnicomm was approved by a tender committee of SGK thanks to the technical characteristics, the important moment was that fact, as mobile terminals, and fuel level sensors are a product of one producer. In the future it will allow Stroygazconsulting holding to simplify issues of interaction with Omnicomm company contractor in case of an equipment output out of operation any of unfair drivers.

Solution

During 2011 in different branches of holding the Omnicomm system equipped about 550 pieces of equipment among which there are bulldozers, the pipe layers, the crane equipment, the equipment from fleet of vehicles and also 46 fuelers.

Results

As showed results of operation of a system, the economic effect of implementation predicted by Omnicomm developers completely justified itself - the transparency of work of the park of the equipment of holding increased many times, and unauthorized drainings of fuel were excluded.

"It is difficult to estimate the exact share of charges of vehicle fleet saved thanks to system implementation so far, but already now it is possible to say that the supplied equipment practically paid off with confidence — the deputy CEO of Omnicomm company Stanislav Yemelyanov told. — This information to us was also confirmed by representatives of SGK holding at the meeting devoted to results of joint work of our companies in 2011" — he added.
