Ural Steel (Malahit: MES)

The Malakhit IT company starts development and deployment of an automated system for JSC Ural Steel based on own solution Malahit: MES.

The leading system integrators of Chelyabinsk region of Malakhit LLC and Lanit Urals LLC within the consortium agreement signed with them in the summer start implementation of an automated system Material balances of JSC Ural Steel based on own solution of Malakhit LLC Malahit: MES. Within the project step-by-step creation of the system of the automated data collection excluding influence of a human factor is provided.

System implementation is intended for the automated tracking material flows, regulation and control of measurements, accounting of the made products, semi-finished products, raw materials and materials, management of material balances.

The automated system of material balances will represent the integrated scalable solution intended for management of material balances of JSC Ural Steel. Potential of the implemented system provides a possibility of a complete scope of a production cycle of JSC Ural Steel and all automated systems and services participating in processes of management of technology and quality.

At the shop level the functionality of a system allows to solve a full range of tasks of management of a material flow:

• ensuring traceability of material flows;
• cutting of costs for production due to acceptance of timely and optimal solutions on management of material flows;
• increase in production efficiency due to decrease in incomplete products, warehouse stocks and also timely correction of technology when using raw materials and materials with deviations from the regulated regulations.

As a result of implementation of the project JSC Ural Steel will receive the software coordinating the existing measuring instruments and data collection systems to new jobs of a management system for material balances. It is in addition going to develop the regulations of management of material flows reflecting methods of collecting of necessary information and carrying out measurements.

This system will be integrated into a common information space of JSC Ural Steel for the purpose of ensuring transparent access to the allowed users and consolidation of the reporting.

The project is going to be completed within 18 months.
