LANIT Urals is the child representation entering into LANIT group (Moscow). In the market of information technologies of the Urals the company began the work in 2010. Activity LANIT Urals covers all Ural Federal District.

In Lanit Urals company the specialists having experience of projects implementation in the state, bank, insurance, educational, financial sectors and also work at the enterprises metallurgical, machine-building, atomic, oil and gas, power and other industries.

Performance Indicators

2015

In 2015 the company increased turnover from system and network integration in Chelyabinsk and area to 372.4 million rubles. The number of the certified specialists in staff of the company reached nearly a half of all employees. Turnover from sale of software and the equipment in 180.1 million rubles. Aggregate turnover of the company in Chelyabinsk and area at the end of 2015 was 570.2 million rubles.

2013

Turnover more than 241 million rubles that is 15% higher than indicators of 2012. LANIT Urals implemented more than 300 projects for 134 customers. In total in the company 80 people work.

2012

Turnover of the company from system integration in the region for 2012 made 164.4 million rubles that exceeds a similar indicator for 2011 almost three times. Aggregate turnover is 201.4 million rubles without ND. At the end of 2012 its turnover made 40% of a total turnover of IT integrators in the area.

History

2019: Inclusion of Red OS in a portfolio of domestic software products

On February 13, 2019 the LANIT company reported that LANIT Urals (enters into LANIT group) and the Russian developer "RED SOFT" signed the agreement on cooperation. 2016: Criminal case about a bribe to the former top manager of Rostelecom

In September, 2016 investigating bodies of Chelyabinsk region announced brining a charge of crime to Vasily Prokopenko - to the former associate director of the Chelyabinsk branch of Rostelecom. Impute it the crime provided by Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking of a bribe in especially large size).

Prokopenko is accused of taking of a bribe in 5 million rubles for the help in signing of the contract more than for 360 million rubles. Money, according to the investigators, was transferred Prokopenko when he worked in Rostelecom, from Lanit Urals company (the chief contractor of telecommunication holding in Chelyabinsk on execution of government contracts). In exchange Prokopenko ensured to firm a victory in the competition of November 27, 2015 announced by Rostelecom.

Bribers got the contract for 364 million rubles signed with the largest telecom operator on delivery, installation and commissioning of a certain equipment and also to development of the project documentation of the Safe City program.

By transfer of a bribe the director of the company Perspective Oleg Vorobyov who was also arrested by a court decision mediated. Charge by Part 4 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the mediation in bribery made in especially large size) was brought to him.

At the end of October, 2016 Prokopenko admitted guilt in taking of a bribe for contracts on "The safe city". Vorobyov at that time categorically did not admit^[1] charge brought to him^[2].

2012: Consolidation with Quorus AKS

Since January, 2012 QUORUS AKS company (Yekaterinburg) and LANIT Urals (Chelyabinsk) integrate the resources for the purpose of expansion of business in the Uralo-Siberian region by creation of new business structure as a part of LANIT group.

For the purpose of expansion of business in the Uralo-Siberian region, improvements of quality and reduction of an implementation time of projects, increases in portfolio of competences and optimization of management, the management of LANIT group made the decision to enlarge the regional structures and to integrate resources of the companies.

Until the end of 2011 all integration processes which result will be consolidation of knowledge assets of QUORUS AKS and LANIT Urals companies will be complete. Thus, the total number of specialists of the joint structure will be more than 100 people. In the course of consolidation of the company will save the legal and operational independence.

For coordination of combined actions and effective management the uniform governing body — Board of Directors which part the chairman of the board of directors Boris Stepanov, the director of business development Alexander Kondakov, the chief executive Andrey Kurov and the technical director Alexander Shaldikov were is created.

Besides the essential staff increase of specialists of the joint structure is planned for 2012 that will provide to the region new jobs for the highly skilled IT personnel. Already developed staff of the regional companies will also feel positive effect from consolidation due to stability augmentation of business and new opportunities in career and professional development.
