History
The history of production units within JSC DSK Avtoban is inextricably linked with the development of oil and gas regions and the construction of the country's road support network. In the first half of the 60s of the last century, the industrial development of Western Siberia began, changing the energy map of the USSR and the world. At that time, the activities of the road construction departments, which are part of OJSC Khanty-Mansiyskdorstroy - the West Siberian production division of OJSC DSK AVTOBAN and the successor of the Surgutdorstroy trust PSMO Zapsibdorstroy of the USSR Ministry of Transport Construction, began.
In 1999, in Moscow, within the framework of geographical diversification and to coordinate the activities of construction departments, OJSC Road Construction Company Avtoban was created.
A new reference point in 2005 for the company was the first general contractor in Central Russia - the reconstruction of the M-3 "Ukraine" highway on the km 37-km51 section in the near Moscow region. From 2008 to 2011, the company carried out the construction of the M-4 Don highway on the bypass of Yelets in the Lipetsk region. The successful completion of one of the largest road construction projects at that time allowed the company to become one of the leading road construction organizations at the federal level with a reputation as a socially responsible company that undoubtedly fulfills contractual obligations.
The company's track record includes areas for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of federal highways: M-4 Don, M-3 Ukraine, Volga M-7, Kholmogory M-8, M-1 Belarus, M-5 Ural, M-2 Crimea, etc., highways in Western Siberia: Nizhnevartovsk-Surgut, Surgut-Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysk-Gornovy-Pravdinsk river approaches, Khanty The company built more than 3,500 kilometers of roads with a capital type of pavement, built more than 400 million m3 of roadbed. Currently, OJSC DSK AVTOBAN is able to annually build about 200 km of modern roads, carry out over 22 million cubic meters of earthworks in any region in Russia.
Today OJSC DSK AVTOBAN performs road construction, bridge construction, design and survey work, conducts industrial and civil construction. The organization employs 4,500 employees, the fleet of modern road construction equipment is 1,100 units.
The company is one of the largest general contractors of the state-owned company AVTODOR and the FDA of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation; performs a full range of work on the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of federal roads, including the I technical category, in 15 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The company has been repeatedly recognized as the winner of prestigious industry competitions, and is consistently among the 400 largest Russian companies according to RA Expert. The company has a quality management system confirmed by Russian and international certification bodies.
In 2015, the international rating agency Moody's Investors Service was the first Russian road construction company to assign DSK AVTOBAN OJSC a corporate rating and a probability of default rating of B1, the outlook for ratings is stable.
2024: Purchase of Urengoydorstroy for billions of rubles
In August 2024, it became known that the Avtoban holding was buying one of the largest road companies in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug - Urengoydorstroy. The general director of INFOLine-Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov incites the sold company at least ₽6 billion. Read more here
