The trade concern Spar implements a cloud service of electronic document management

The European trade concern SPAR made the decision to transfer 4.400 employees in seven countries from the available ECM solution on Fabasoft Folio.

Solution and expectations

The software is specially adapted for SPAR and in the medium term will find application in all SPAR-Group Austria (SPAR, SES Spar European Shopping Centers, Hervis).

Since the beginning of the project from the former workflow system more than 20 million documents are transferred to a new system. The enterprise completely transferred all lifecycle of document flow and business processes to a digital format. Personnel department especially noted the application the Digital Case implemented in Fabasoft Folio which is closely integrated with SAP.

After successful implementation of an ECM system, SPAR is going to transfer all business processes to Fabasoft Folio. Digital case, a databank of multimedia and archive of construction plans – only a little from many available corporate applications. On the next stage it is supposed to implement a wish of secure mobile access to documents from tablet computers and smartphones with the help of Fabasoft Folio App.

The project SPAR Business Services GmbH/ICS Fabasoft is also implemented in 10 months.
