Picked up a subject with - the president of corporation Mark Hurd, having given the detailed comment about development of BI solutions of Oracle at the OpenWorld conference in Tokyo.

The hard began the performance with ascertaining of the fact: the number of data on the planet exceeds all imaginable limits. "I have bad news. It will be even worse further", - he said. He gave such example: on an avia run remained the last ticket, and the sales agent should solve who exactly of passengers will get it. "If I am a passenger, then the solution of the agent will change my relationship with this airline for the rest of life. If I have to wait for 3-4 hours of the following run, perhaps, I any more will never use its services. And when such decisions are made hundreds of times a day, their importance seriously increases in lump. That is why modern intelligent analytical systems are so important", - told with - the president of corporation.

Oracle stated that it continues active work on all solutions intended for data analysis, including the analytical systems and complete Exalytics hardware-software solutions which, as well as SAP HANA, is based on in-memory to data processing.

In relation to BI the release of the new version of Hyperion EPM (enterprise performance management) 11.1.2.2 became one of key announcements of the last days. According to Paul Rodvik (Paul Rodwick), the vice president of Oracle BI, this release will far be spaced from standard updating and contains a set of new features.

Among them modules for project financial planning, integration with Exalytics, redesign of the user interface and new stacks between Hyperion Data Relationship Management and Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 and also Fusion Financials allowing "perform easier and fast integration of accounts and other data between ERP applications", told Oracle.

Also Oracle submitted the Endeca Information Discovery system, its emergence became result of purchase last year of vendor of Endeca. A system allows to manage the structured and not structured data in model-as-you-go style on the basis of user data of e-commerce. The platform can be used, for example, for the analysis of insurance payments and moods in social media. It will also be certified under Exalytics in the middle of 2012.

Two customized applications for clients of SAP using whom it is possible to analyze expenses and purchases and also supply chains and other processes were submitted to Oracle. Two more analytical applications are intended for Oracle systems, one for manufacturing enterprises, and another – for the analysis of use of tangible assets.
