The Gepard network completed a SAP solution implementation project for retail

The Softline company begins an implementation project of the solution SLSL Retail Trade on the SAP platform in Gepard company.

Due to the active growth of business and opening of new sales points, the management Cheetah made the decision to construct a corporate information system of management based on modern IT solution which would allow to arrange business processes in the company, to consolidate data, to provide business control. As the IT system the solution on the SAP platform for retail was selected.

Important role for the management Cheetah played project experience of Softline having more than 80 successful implementations of the software of SAP in baggage in the choice of the company integrator. The offer of Softline of a standard solution package for retail network "SLSL Retail Trade" on the SAP Business All-in-One platform which main advantage is the fixed functional volume, the austerity budget and deadlines of implementation became a decisive factor.

Objectives

The main objective facing a solution implementation project – creation of the information system working in real time which will provide effective use of resources, cost optimization and profitable work of all enterprise.

SAP implementation in retail network "Gepard" will provide the solution of the following tasks:

• reliable information support of decision making process;
• optimization of a goods turnover;
• exception of duplicative transactions;
• unification and standardization of processes;
• adaptation to the best world practices.

Using the SAP solution it is going to automate such business processes in Gepard company as retail pricing, management of promotion actions, the loyalty program, operational management of assortiment, purchases, control of accounts, management of warehouses, the cost accounting, inventory management in shop, transactions with semi-finished products and others. Within the project integration with external systems of 1C will be performed: Finance, POS terminals and also with scales. Specialists of Softline will configure in the system of SAP printed forms and reports for control of financial performance of activity of the enterprise.

The implementation project of the standard solution of SAP in Gepard company will be executed in several stages, now specialists of Softline complete setup of a system of SAP.

Project duration will be 5 months. It is going to configure and implement business processes, specific to the retail industry.

In a project deliverable business processes, specific to the retail industry, are configured and implemented. The IT system selects the standard solution on the SAP platform for retail of "SL Retail Trade" on the SAP Business All-in-One platform developed by Softline and certified in SAP company.
