Anglesey Food provides transparency of business with implementation of the comprehensive solution

The Softline company completed an implementation project of the solution for retail of "SL Retail Trade" on the SAP platform in retail network of food "Anglesey Food".

Need

Due to growth and gain of current positions in the market of product retail of the region the management of "Anglesey Food" made the decision on business process automation in the company using a corporate information system which would allow to consolidate information and to provide transparency of business for the management and shareholders. As an information system the standard solution for retail of "SL Retail Trade" was selected.

Solution

As a result of implementation business sales processes, sales, invoicings, materials requirement planning, purchases, inventory managements, logistics, accounting of results and others are automated. Specialists of Softline configured integration with 1C systems: Finance, POS, Client-bank and also developed the data exchange interface with scales and printers of barcodes. Based on SAP the uniform information warehouse is constructed and the system of analytics and the reporting is customized. In addition to conventional processes of retail on the project processes for creation of wholesale orders, automation of work of meat workshop and others were implemented.

Results

Implementing solution creates the corporate information system covering all business processes of retail network and working in real time. The management notes the following advantages which the system of SAP allowed to reach:

• optimization of the range;
• process optimization of the order of goods at suppliers and control of deliveries;
• optimization of the mechanism of pricing;
• increase in efficiency of personnel due to introduction of uniform business processes and document flow;
• receiving by the management and shareholders of up-to-date information in real time, information analysis acceleration.
