Rosgosstrakh Bank is going to bring the complete solution of optimization of an analysis system into operation

Corporation Hitachi Data Systems also ROSGOSSTRAKH BANK brought into operation the complete solution on optimization of an analytical system based on servers Hitachi Compute Blade and building block system of data storage Hitachi.

Goal

The bank was faced by a problem of creation of a reliable analytical system. A choice for benefit of solutions of Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) was made after studying of similar solutions of alternative suppliers. Technology advantage, the optimal price offer and long-term (more than 5 years) positive experience with technological solutions of Hitachi became the major arguments which defined the choice of the solution HDS.

Solution

Within the project the following purposes were set:

• creation of the analytical system meeting the most strict requirements for providing with computing resources, increase in depth of a miscalculation and increase in accuracy of parameters of analytics;
• reduction of time from a request before providing results of the analytics necessary for acceptance of management decisions;
• reliability assurance and fault tolerances of a system, possibility of its further upgrade and development.

In the project progress ensuring high performance and reliability of computing systems and storage systems became a key task.

Acted as optimal IT infrastructure for the solution of this task a blade servers of production of Hitachi company – Compute Blade 2000, building block system of data storage of Hitachi AMS 2000 and the system of the senior Hitachi USP VM level. Use of the computing Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 platform having potential to integrate to the 4th a blade servers in one physical server became advantage of this solution. Due to this technology it is possible to consolidate resources and to receive up to 80 main cores of Intel Xeon and up to 1.5 TB RAM within one server.
