2017: Assessment of IT systems on compliance to requirements of SWIFT

The Center of Financial Technologies company and ExpoBank implement the project on certification of local IT infrastructure of financial institution on compliance to security requirements of SWIFT.

In 2016 the international company SWIFT developed the Customer Security Programme (CSP) program created for the purpose of increase in level of information security of participants of a transmission system of financial messages. According to this program, all participants of SWIFT are obliged to carry out independently annual conformity assessment of bank security to 16 criteria. Such protective measures are intended to reduce risk of distortion by malefactors of transactions of money and to prevent financial losses of banks and their clients.

Since January 1, 2018 SWIFT will begin to provide to the Bank of Russia information on participants who did not transfer data on observance of obligatory elements of control — did not carry out conformity assessment of the infrastructure to requirements of the CSP program. And since January 1, 2019 SWIFT will inform the regulator on users who did not perform the annual procedure of certification for security in time.

Data transfer in the core banking system CFT Bank

On July 22, 2015 it became known of end of the next stage of upgrade of IT infrastructure of ExpoBank with the assistance of CFT.

The ExpoBank uses in the activity outsourcing model of a system CFT Bank – functions of IT service the core banking system are in full transferred on outsourcing in CFT.

Partners completed the project on data transfer from the core banking system which is earlier used by IAC Bank in the main centralized information banking system of ExpoBank – the system CFT Bank placed at capacities of DPC of CFT.

Within accession of the Yakut CB IAC-Bank to ExpoBank LLC technology upgrade of IT infrastructure of the attached bank for the purpose of observance of the uniform IT standards adopted in ExpoBank is carried out. Since 2012 the ExpoBank acts as one of strategic partners of the CFT Group.

Transition to IT outsourcing. Change of the core banking system

The ExpoBank and the Center of Financial Technologies Group completed the first stage of the large-scale project on transfer of function of IT service of Bank in full on outsourcing. One of the most important stages of the project – replacement set in ABS bank on information bank complex CFT Bank placed at capacities of DPC of CFT is implemented.

Within the first stage of the project on transition to IT outsourcing, functions on support of smooth functioning, development and testing of the main banking system are transferred to CFT Group. Also the bank performed replacement of the system of remote banking operating earlier and transferred to maintenance RBS services of legal entities and physical persons in Faktura.ru. Further the ExpoBank should perform transfer of complete functionality of processing of cards of international payment systems on service to the Processing Center KartStandart which is also entering into the CFT Group.
