Biography

Was born on November 15, 1951 in Perm, Russia.

Education

1973 - graduated from the Leningrad institute of engineers of railway transport of a name of the academician V.N. Obraztsov.

1975 - graduated from the Higher school of KGB of the USSR of F.E. Dzerzhinsky in Moscow.

Career

Since 1975 - in the state security agencies. Served at positions of operational and leadership team in counterprospecting divisions of UKGB USSR across the Leningrad Region - UFSB of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

Till June, 2003 - the deputy head of department of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation across St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region on counterprospecting transactions.

2003-2004 - the head of department of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation of Russia across St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

Since March 2, 2004 - the associate director of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation of Russia - the head of the department of economic safety of FSB of Russia.

Since July 11, 2004 - the head of Service of economic safety of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation of Russia.

Since July, 2004 - the member of the Interdepartmental working group on development of the concept of national strategy of counteraction of money laundering.
