The Integrated Confectioners holding changes the mobile platform of the solution OPTIMUM for Android

In Integrated Confectioners holding transition of sales representatives to the automation system of mobile trade GIS OPTIMUM for Android OS comes to the end, company CDC reported on September 18, 2012.

Solution

All distributors participate in the geographically distributed project of consolidation (more than 120 platforms in the territory of Russia, nearly 2 thousand sales representatives). Trade business processes "from wheels" (van selling or Weng a selling) and collecting of orders (pre selling or a preselling) are automated. Besides, routes of sales agents are controlled by means of satellite GPS navigation using system module of "OPTIMUM of the GIS Monitoring".

Result

Transition of overwhelming number of distributors took only two months. No extra works connected with replacement of the platform were required. Now 80% of exclusive teams of sales representatives of Integrated Confectioners company passed to a new system which gives all functionality necessary for holding on business process automation of mobile trade. Instead of outdated communicators based on Windows Mobile they received and master the ZTE V9C tablet computers working running Android OS. Completion of migration of distributors on a new system is going to finish in the fall.
