The Sesana pharmaceutical company continues the project of automation of network

The ClientSoft company automated the first drugstore "At Leipzig" pharmacy chain Pharmaceutical Company Sesana Ltd. The software solution "1C: Retail 8 is used . Drugstore".

Objectives

Because the Customer (Pharmaceutical Company Sesana Ltd) decided to automate all drugstores of network and plans further development, automation of the first drugstore needed to be executed so that in the future to scale this solution on other objects. Among the industry pharmaceutical solutions proposed by ClientSoft company the Customer stopped the choice on the software product "1C: Retail 8. The drugstore", it meets all necessary requirements.

Solution

Within the project specialists ClientSoft performed the following works:

• Demonstration of the solution for automation of pharmacy chain at office of the Customer;
• Delivery and installation of the equipment and software;
• Setup of a hardware and software system in workplaces of cashiers-druggists and the pharmacy manager according to account policy of the organization;
• Creation of the central and peripheral information bases and setup of data exchange between them;
• Consulting services in work with "1C: Retail 8. Drugstore" and a retail store equipment for cashiers-druggists and the manager.

Result

As a result of automation the Customer received the reliable management tool pharmaceutical business. The automated system supports not only standard trade business processes, but also specific to drugstore, including:

• Accounting of medicines on series using the mechanism of characteristics;
• Accounting of vital and important medicines (VED);
• Control of counterfeits and expiration dates of medicines;
• Control of installation of the prices of medicines according to the legislation.

Now a system is brought into operation, employees ClientSoft render maintenance services of drugstore. Within the project 2 jobs of cashiers-druggists and 1 workplace of the pharmacy manager are automated.

2013: Development of network

On December 30, 2013 the 1C-Rarus company announced project completion of automation of five drugstores of pharmaceutical company "SESANA" using software "1C: Retail 8. Drugstore". Works on implementation are carried out remotely.

Project Tasks

The management of FC SESANA decided to automate work of five drugstores. The 1C-Rarus company became the partner in the project. From the products provided by specialists 1C-Rarus, the management of FC SESANA selected the solution "1C: Retail 8. Drugstore". The functionality implemented in the program meets customer requirements – allows to perform retail of medicines and ^[1].

Project Progress

A retail store equipment specialists helped to select, purchase and connect the necessary equipment:

• thermal printer of printing of the ZEBRA LP2824SE PLUS labels;
• laser Motorola LS2208 USB hand scanner;
• not the fiscal printer of checks of ASPD - ELVES-M "R".

Initial software setups and the equipment are carried out at office "1C-Rarus". After delivery of the prepared equipment to the client specialists created the central information base, filled out initial information (the organizations, warehouses, etc.), configured data exchange with two subordinated drugstores and unloading of data in "1C: Accounting 8". All works were performed remotely.

Project Results

Drugstores of FC SESANA using a new system do business by pharmaceutical products, considering ^[2], belonging to ^[3], forms of release, dosages, pharmako-therapeutic groups. Users "1C: Retail 8. Drugstore" can exercise control of the maximum permissible prices (both minimum, and maximum), counterfeits and medicines which had an expiration date. In the solution there is an opportunity to set retail prices for goods, to look for medicines on MNN (in Latin).
