Ricoh GlobalScan NX

The Ricoh company presented the solution for scanning of GlobalScan NX which simplifies integration of paper documents into the system of digital document flow in October, 2012. New software expands standard opportunities of scanning: the companies can increase performance due to functions of automatic distribution of the scanned documents, their sharing and management of the received files in electronic form, says the company.

The solution is available in three versions: GlobalScan NX Serverless, GlobalScan NX Business Server and GlobalScan NX Enterprise Server. GlobalScan NX Serverless works without use of the server and is suitable for small offices at which it is necessary to arrange document flow. The version of GlobalScan NX Business Server is expected mid-scale businesses and allows to connect up to 32 multi-function printers to the GlobalScan NX server. The large companies will suit the solution GlobalScan NX Enterprise Server which gives the chance on a centralized basis to administer up to 750 office MFPs.

The principle of "Select-and-Go" ("selected-started") which is used in the solution GlobalScan NX, allows to simplify scanning of documents and their direct integration on Wednesday of digital document flow. In the project of scanning the format of documents and a route of scanning can be defined in advance, the user will need only to start process. After that documents without delay are digitized and go on route, for example, to network folders, e-mail, by the fax or to the system of corporate document flow. Files can be traced, archived and found in network easily.
