The South Korean mobile operator LG U + included video calls with TeamSpirit Voice&Video Engine Mobile

In October, 2012 the SPIRIT company announced that the Korean mobile operator LG U + began to use the TeamSpirit Voice&Video Engine Mobile engine for providing voice and video calls.

The LG U+ company entering into the three of the largest telecom operators in South Korea began distribution of new service – voice and video calls between owners of Samsung Galaxy Player. The application for commission of calls is preset on the mediaplayer which LG U+ offers the subscribers.

Users of Samsung Galaxy Player with the new application get the phone number from LG U+ that allows them to refuse use of the stationary home phone number. At the same time made the cost of calls from one Galaxy Player on other operator minimum. Is going to gain a basic income of LG U+ from calls of owners of Galaxy Player on third-party phones.

Video calls from the mediaplayer on other Galaxy Player or on mobile phones became possible thanks to the program TeamSpirit Voice&Video Engine Mobile engine which allows LG U+ to provide to users of service HD image quality.

Service based on Samsung Galaxy Player attracted interest of subscribers of LG U+, and in SPIRIT company calculate that LG U+ providing communication services to millions of users of home phone numbers quickly will manage to increase number of subscribers of new service up to 500,000 people. It is expected that use of the mediaplayer as the videophone will help the telecom operator to keep the subscribers from transition to video calls using software products of such third-party OTT providers as Skype.
