Matyushkin Georgy Olegovich is the Russian statesman. Being authorized Russia at the European Court of Human Rights - the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation[1]. The former deputy plenipotentiary envoy of the Russian Federation President in the Volga Federal District. The former Deputy Prime Minister - the minister of state property of Chuvashia.

Biography

Was born on June 10, 1966 in Moscow, Russia.

Education

1988 - graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in Jurisprudence.

1990 - completed postgraduate studies at law department of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

1991 - passed a training in the leading American law firm "Baker & Botts" (Houston, Texas).

2002 - the master graduated from Academy of National Economy at the Government of the Russian Federation in Management.

Scientific degree, academic status

Candidate of Law Sciences. Associate professor.

Thesis: "An institutionalization of federal districts in modern Russia: The all-legal analysis"[2].

Career

Worked as the lawyer of JV MOST.

1991 - 1993 - the legal adviser of MOST-pravo LLC.

1993 - 1995 - the lawyer of the Moscow city Bar "Klishin and Partners".

1995 - 2000 - the vice-chairman of presidium of Interterritorial Bar "Klishin and Partners".

2000 - 2002 - the vice-chairman of the cabinet of the Chuvash Republic - the minister of the property relations of the Chuvash Republic.

2002 - 2003 - the chief of the Volga district inspection of the Main Control Directorate of the Russian President.

2004 - 2005 - the assistant to the Russian President's Plenipotentiary in the Volga federal district.

December, 2005 - June, 2008 - the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District[3].

December, 2005 - till June, 2008 - the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District.

August 5, 2008 - By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of August 5, 2008 No. 1179 it is appointed to the position of the Representative of the Russian Federation at the European Court of Human Rights - the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation[4].

March 29, 2017 - By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation it is dismissed the representative of Russia at the European Court of Human Rights - the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation[5].

Scientific activity

The author of a number of scientific works, the coauthor of the textbook for legal universities of Russia "Legal information science and cybernetics" and also the monograph on problems of the international arbitral procedure.
