IT Management System for Licenses (MSL)

The IT company released in the fall of 2012 upgraded version of the management system for licenses (MSL) based on the solution Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012. This solution allows to automate processes of accounting of software licenses and to adjust effective management of this information at all stages of lifecycle of software products.

Using the solution IT service developed by IT will be able effectively to carry out inventory of the software. A system provides recognition more than 200,000 applications practically of all famous developers, at the same time in it the possibility of accounting of all license information – accounting of corporate purchases of licenses, storage of electronic document revisions, support of different complex circuits of licensing (sublicensing and purposeful purchase of software for divisions), including in large geographically distributed structures is implemented. The management system for licenses has flexible architecture that facilitates its adaptation under requirements of the specific customer and does possible integration into the existing information infrastructure, provides data exchange with already used applications. All this allows to compare information on the set software with data on existence of licenses on balance of the organization, to carry out the general and sampling analyses, to have an idea of the real situation and to keep a situation under control.

Already the possibility of formation of more than 20 report types, both on separate divisions, and on the organization in general is provided in standard candidate solution. At the same time they may contain data on the purchased licenses, on inventory of software, on use of licenses, on license keys and also results of identification procedures and a categorization of software. The provided reports can be used how to eat, change their forms according to own requirements and also to unload in office applications for follow-up and analysis.
