Research on the demand for electronic public services

Electronic recording to a doctor is the most popular service in Russia, this conclusion was reached by experts of the non-profit association "Expert Center of the Electronic State" according to the study, which was told to journalists by the head of the center Pavel Khilov at a press conference on November 22, 2012.

The study involved more than 600 experts from 80 regions of the country. According to the results, the top 20 most popular electronic services in Russia were compiled. The first on the list was an electronic entry to the doctor, then - access to information about tariffs and consumed housing and communal services, in third place - an electronic entry for admission to kindergartens and schools. Creating a Center

The Electronic State Expert Center was established in 2012.

In the framework of its activities, the Expert Center provides an open platform for discussing and preparing proposals and recommendations for the implementation of public policies in the field of the formation of effective communications between the state and society based on information technologies (electronic state, electronic democracy, electronic government).

The Expert Center interacts with the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Apparatus of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the leadership of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and other bodies. Stable business contacts have also been established with scientific institutions, public associations, organizations and experts working in the field of information technology.

The expert center brings together more than 80 experts in key areas of development of information and communication technologies.

The activities of the Expert Center are aimed at consolidating the expert community in the field of information technologies, developing electronic state technologies at all levels of government, as well as ensuring independent public control over this process.

The main areas of activity of the Expert Center of the electronic state:

The main tasks of the Electronic State Expert Center:

  • development and dissemination of expertise in the field of regional and municipal informatization, formation of the information society and e-government;
  • organizing professional discussions of initiatives and preparing proposals for the formation of priorities for the development of information technologies and public policies in the areas of electronic government, electronic democracy and regional informatization;
  • Formation of an independent mechanism for monitoring and evaluating the current results of the activities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of the use of information technologies, the implementation of projects in the field of the creation and implementation of electronic democracy and e-government tools at the regional and municipal levels;
  • Developing human resources to address the challenges of information technology development at the regional and municipal levels;
  • Promoting Russia's place in international ICT development ratings.
