Content

The 1C-Rarus branch in Nizhny Novgorod created for salons of New Vision optics the unified information system on the basis of the programs "1C:Enterprise 8", the company integrator reported on December 26, 2012. The project is implemented using industry solution "1C: Retail 8. Salon of optics".

Goal

For further expansion of network, increase in level and service rate of buyers, gaining new buyers and deduction of old the decision on creation in salons of the unified information system was made. It was important to management to see at any time real goods quantity in shops, to quickly receive a feedback from clients, to control work of employees, to analyze sales.

The decision on automation of salons was made taking into account successful experience with programs of the 1C:Enterprise 8 system - at the central office 1C: Accounting 8 and 1C: Trade Management 8 for accounting, managements of merchandising and the analysis of warehouse stocks respectively were already used.

Therefore choice of the software product "1C: Retail 8. The salon of optics" was natural. This ready-made industry solution already considered the majority of features of work of the automated salons, did not require additional expensive completions and was easily integrated with the programs constructed on the same platform used at the central office.

Implementation was charged to specialists of the Nizhny Novgorod branch "1C-Rarus".

Deployment

The project automates work of four salons. Specialists of New Vision network select quicker and make products necessary for buyers, quickly perform sale. Integration with systems used at the central office "1C: Trade Management 8" and "1C: Accounting 8" allowed to reflect correctly sales informations in accounting, to control existence in shops of complete product assortment. Double sales growth became evident confirmation of efficiency of implementation.

Result

Now program "1C: Retail 8. Salon of optics" it is unrolled in four salons of New Vision network, in it work both sellers-cashiers, and doctors-oculists. A new system allowed to automate all process of work with the client - registration of primary address, diagnostics, selection of points or lenses, order placement for production, a finished goods issue, fixing of a customer feedback. The doctors making diagnostics of sight of the client and the statement of the recipe for production of points or selection of contact lenses enter detailed customer information (a full name, age, sex, contact information) into the system. The biometric characteristics of sight of each client received during diagnostics in salon are also kept in the program.

Project Results

Work of personnel of salons is optimized. User-friendly interfaces allow to find quickly the necessary goods, to issue the order, to accept payment and to make its issue to the client. The flexible system of sales reports of goods, to the written-out recipes sent to orders to production allows to estimate efficiency of personnel, to trace history and stages of accomplishment of orders.

Operational monitoring of a remaining balance of goods in shops allows to resupply as fast as possible. The wide range of product names in salons guarantees satisfaction of the maximum number of clients.

The carried-out analysis of a goods turnover allows to update timely the range of shops, to develop actions on sales increase. So, the marketing efforts held in the summer of 2012 on stimulation of demand for certain groups of goods allowed to increase profit by 1.5 times.

Itemized statements from production workshops allow to control course of production of each order and costs for its accomplishment. In case of lack of required materials in a workshop - their operational purchase reduces the probability of a delay of terms of order fulfillment and helps to save buyers.

Questioning of clients at issue of discount cards allows to create future offers interesting to buyers, increasing their loyalty to network and the number of the made purchases. These and other opportunities of a new system helped network to achieve the optician "New vision" in the second half of the year 2012 of double sales growth in comparison with the first half of the year.

  • Implementation of software products of 1C allows to manage our network effectively. Now in uniform base four outlets work. In plans - inclusion of three more. Work on goods acceptance and its sale to buyers is most simplified and facilitated. Our clients should not wait long for receiving the selected points or lenses.
