The Trend Micro Incorporated company announced in January, 2013 changes in work of the Russian division of the company. Since January, 2013 the office representing business of the company in Russia and the CIS countries will become a part of the region Continental Europe. Patrick Dalvinck, the vice president of the region Continental Europe will direct the Moscow office. Mr. Dalvinck considers that Russia as one of the most dynamically emerging markets, deserves bigger attention and support for implementation of high potential of growth.

As well as in other international markets, the profile of activity Trend Micro in Russia will not change: the company will still specialize in the field of security of physical, virtual and "cloud" mediums, offering for data protection on the Internet and fight against web threats reliable solutions which do safe digital interchange for the enterprises and normal users. The company will continue work on all important local projects, such as certification of products, full support of partners, development of regional initiatives.

Since January 14, 2013 powers of the area director in Russia and the CIS countries Veniamin Levtsov are stopped.

Biography

After the termination Hogeschool Antwerpen in the field of information science, Patrick Dalvink started a career the sales manager in Compulec company, and in 1994 passed into the American company AXENT Technologies to a position of the territorial manager in Belgium and Luxembourg. From 2000 to 2007 Patrick worked as the managing director of representative office of Symantec in the countries Benelux countries.

Since November, 2007 he joined the Trend Micro command at first as the area director of the company in the countries Benelux countries, and since July, 2012 – the vice president of the region Continental Europe which includes the countries Benelux countries, Poland and 13 countries of Eastern Europe. Since January, 2013 the markets of Russia and the CIS countries fell within the scope of responsibility of Mr. Dalvink.
