The Tomlesdrev timber processing complex prepares for start an implementation project of the ERP solution of INTALEV company, the press service of integrator reported on January 30, 2013.

Background

In 2012 the management of LPK "Tomlesdrev" under the influence of difficult conditions of modern economy came to an output about need of external consultations. For this reason the management of management company decided to address experts in the field of management consulting, being guided when choosing by one criterion – professionalism. Having studied data on work of the Siberian office INTALEV Group, the management of LPK "Tomlesdrev" made the decision on further cooperation with this organization.

Tasks

The joint work purpose - formalization of strategic vision of future consolidation "Tomlesdrev" until 2022 – earlier any technologies in this direction were not applied. For achievement of this purpose the session of strategic planning in which 10 representatives of top management of LPK "Tomlesdrev" and experts of the Siberian office INTALEV Group participated was held.

During the session of the party came to making decision on the beginning of the joint project of LPK "Tomlesdrev" and the Siberian office INTALEV Group. The "Creation (Setting and Automation) of a Management System" project is expected two years, a number of functional areas includes:

  • budget planning;
  • management accounting (including according to IFRS);
  • process management and electronic document management;
  • project management;
  • personnel management (including motivation of personnel on the basis of KPI).

There is an approval of project start date and terms of holding specific actions are specified.

The false start will not be - terms are coordinated

Partners coordinated terms of the beginning of the project, the press service of integrator - reported on March 4, 2013: INTALEV and the timber industry consolidation "Tomlesdrev" started the "Creation (Setting and Automation) of a Management System" project.

"In spite of the fact that top managers of LPK "Tomlesdrev" first were afraid to open the experts who came from the outside soon to representatives of both companies managed to make the uniform team speaking one language. After completion of a strategic session top management continued work independently: on the basis of the formalized strategic vision and the created card of the purposes the strategic plan of actions for achievement of effective objectives was developed" — the deputy director for economy and finance of LPK "Tomlesdrev" Oleg Balanchik told.
"One of features of work of the consultant is as follows: even if behind your shoulders tens of executed projects, each new project a lot of new is always bears in itself unique developments for vision, tasks of managers of the customer. The project with LPK "Tomlesdrev" started with blocks of budget planning, management accounting and process management and document flow. Only the first steps, however are executed and they show presence at a team of the customer of interesting challenges, active living position, commitment that instills confidence in achievement of effective objectives" — noted the project manager, the manager of projects of the Siberian office "INTALEV" Natalya Podolyak.

End of the Project

On December 16, 2013 the INTALEV company reported - in 2013 the works on optimization and automation of process of the movement of inventory stocks in LPK "Tomlesdrev" were completed.

Consultants of the Siberian office "INTALEV" carried out the project to most short time — in total on its accomplishment left a little more than a month.

About a project objective. The existing production scales in LPK "Tomlesdrev" and plans of its development require existence in the company of a debugged management system, one of key components of which is raw materials procurement process. In structure of a complex there is already a centralized service of logistics which delivers required materials.

Project Results

  • Simplification and standardization of process of formation, collecting and processing of purchasing requests of material and production means.
  • Influence reduction of "human factor".
  • Reduction of quantity of errors during the planning and implementation of requirements on purchases.
  • Creation of the instrument of operating control of purchases at all stages and also performance monitoring and expediency of purchases of separate groups of materials.
  • Increase in objectivity at procurement performance evaluation.
