In OMK process of centralization of electronic archive is complete

In the OMK group the centralized approach to the organization of accounting and tax accounting by means of implementing solution ELAR SAPERION is implemented, the press service of developer company reported on February 13, 2013.

Essence

The logic of work of the solution provides the translation of primary documents in an electronic form and their transfer for processing to the Joint center of service of the company – "OMK-Audit", keeping financial accounting for all enterprises of holding. For business process automation of processing and storage of primary documents implemented the system of electronic archive of documentation (SEAD).

The electronic archive on the ELAR SAPERION ECM platform provides management of large volumes of documents, search in attributes, registration of changes and formation of a selection of documents.

The president of ELAR Sergey Balandyuk noted features of implementation in OMK: a geographically-distributed structure of the joint center of service, need of integration with the different accounting and applied systems and big flows of the processed documents – more than 20 thousand daily. According to him, the implemented solution allows the enterprise to consolidate information on financial flows of all business units and promotes increase in transparency and controllability of the enterprises.

October 27, 2015. United Metallurgical Company (JSC OMK) announced completion of works on centralization of electronic archive within the concept of the general service center (GSC).

Goal

The purpose of implementation of electronic archive is cutting of costs for technical support and operation of a system and also an opportunity to unify reporting procedures for all divisions of the company.

Project Progress

ELAR corporation performed transfer of the last electronic archive from Chelyabinsk to Vyksa, having provided uniform digital storage of holding.

The regulated access to documents of all divisions, including territorially remote, is performed through the accounting systems of SAP ERP, 1C and corporate EDMS integrated with electronic archive. About 10,000 people of OMK group use electronic archive, at the same time uninterrupted online access to documents is provided, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

"The project on implementation of electronic archive in OMK began in the 2010th year and became base for the subsequent OTsO organization for accounting and tax accounting. We wanted to optimize processing of a large number of documents. As the ECM platform for electronic storage the system of ELAR SAPERION meeting our main requirements was selected: high performance, fault tolerance, possibility of storage of files of any format and regulation of access to them", – Vladimir Zhuravlev, the head of practice of electronic document management systems tells OMK-ITs.

"The main outcome of the project was the fact that any document cannot be lost, and time between transfer and decision-making is no more than 12 hours. Labor costs on selection, copying of documents during the work with auditors are also reduced and operational preparation of unloading in tax authorities in electronic form is provided, - Dmitry Shmaylov, the head ECM of ELAR corporation commented on results of implementation.
