Orenburg Airlines connects remote branches to corporate EDMS

Orenburg Airlines connected the new division providing tourist services to work in CompanyMedia management system, the developer company of the product InterTrust reported on March 15, 2013.

Background

In 2011 in close contact with the staff of IT department of airline transition to version 3.5 – at that time the newest and functional is performed. The complexity of upgrade was that during operation of a system in airline the set of specific document forms and non-standard algorithms of their movement is developed.

2012 set the new task for the company – the division located far off providing tourist services is created. Workflow automation of this division and its integration with already working into EDMS companies led to the fact that CompanyMedia in Oreneyr became the geographically distributed rule.

Implementation of electronic document management happened in airline gradually and step by step. The important role when choosing EDMS was played by flexibility of the CompanyMedia platform, a possibility of its modification under requirements of any customer – as document flow of the "regime" enterprises differs from document flow of the normal "civil" companies a little, at implementation additional setup of a system was required.

The CompanyMedia installation and transfer of document flow to an electronic form allowed to accelerate considerably processes of preparation of documents and their approval, to completely exclude a possibility of loss of documents, to adjust strict control of execution of instructions, to optimize a number of processes which at "paper" office-work required considerable labor costs.
