Personal data protection in InformSystems of health sector of the Republic of Mari El is implemented using electronic keys

"Educational Scientific Center of Information Security" (ESCIS) and Aladdin R.D. announced project completion on implementation of electronic keys of eToken PRO (Java) 72K and the software of eToken Network Logon in medical institutions of the Republic of Mari El.

Adjustment

UNTsIB company joined in the project for reduction of the information systems (IS) of the republic in compliance with FZ-152 "About personal data". After carrying out audit of security and classification of personal data information systems of health care of the Republic of Mari El, experts of the company developed the project documentation of regulations and operation, the recommendation about security of confidential information.

Platform

The project, in its technical part, is based on implementation of electronic keys of eToken PRO (Java) 72K and software eToken Network Logon from Aladdin R.D.

Solution

Within the project in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Mari El the corporate data network is created, the protected electronic interdepartmental cooperation with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation on the Republic of Mari El, Territorial fund of compulsory health insurance of the Republic of Mari El and the Ministry of social protection of the population and work of the Republic of Mari El is established.

"This part of the project is successfully complete, but there is also a space for further improvement of medical information systems in health facilities of the Republic of Mari El and in other regions of the Volga Federal District. At the moment in them conditions for the protected electronic document management are already created. Perhaps, it will become the next stage" — Andrey Grishin, the director of the company of UNTsIB reported.
