In the Magadan region public transport is equipped with satellite trackers

The company VimpelCom equipped with a system "Automonitoring" complete with GPS/ GLONASS- trackers more than 110 passenger buses of Magadan, the press service of operator reported on April 10, 2013.

Solution

The central dispatching service of city passenger transport of Magadan via the website of the operator observes location of buses on the card and obtains information on routes in real time.

The functionality allows automatic control of parameters of the movement of vehicles, their speed and sending SMS and e-mail notification about any deviations from the high-speed mode, a route, other events. A system Avtomonitoring allows to create reports and to carry out efficiency analysis of use of motor transport.

For April 10, 2013 the complex Avtomonitoring equips more than 110 buses, including the majority of municipal passenger vehicle fleet and a considerable part of buses of commercial carriers.
