The Main Directorate of the Moscow Region for Interaction with Federal State Authorities was the central executive body of state power of the Moscow Region, which, within its competence, carried out executive and administrative activities to ensure the execution by the Governor of the Moscow Region of powers in the field of coordinated functioning, coordination of activities and organization of interaction of the executive power of the Moscow Region with federal state authorities, state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The main tasks of the Main Directorate were:
- ensuring, within its competence, that the Governor of the Moscow Region exercises the authority to organize the interaction of the executive authorities of the Moscow Region with federal state authorities;
- information and analytical support of the activities of the Governor of the Moscow Region aimed at organizing the coordinated functioning and interaction of the executive bodies of state power of the Moscow Region with federal executive bodies and their territorial bodies;
- ensuring the representation of the interests of the Moscow Region in federal government bodies and in state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation;
- organization of interregional relations of the executive bodies of state power of the Moscow region with the executive bodies of state power of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation;
- control within its competence over the execution of resolutions, orders, instructions of the Governor of the Moscow Region on the interaction of executive authorities of the Moscow Region with federal state authorities.
History
2014: Abolition
Decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region of September 16, 2013 No. 221-PG[1], the Main Directorate of the Moscow Region for Interaction with Federal state Authorities was abolished from January 1, 2014.
