VideoMost Space

VideoMost Space represents the loaded software product for multipoint web video conferences which can work under control and administration of either service provider, or the data center which is based on infrastructure of the telecom operator (SAAS), or the system administrator of the company (on-premises). The loaded client application VideoMost Space for Windows and Mac OS supplements the web version of the program VIDEOCONFERENCING product VideoMost, providing the highest quality of a multi-user video conferencing for the enterprises, the state organizations, and the companies specializing in interactive distance learning.

VideoMost is the software product of the Russian company SPIRIT for carrying out multipoint web video conferences on the PC, Mac and iPad.

Properties

VideoMost allows to reduce significantly costs of means, time and nerves for trips, to save on domestic long distance telephone communication and roaming, to enter the new markets, to considerably increase efficiency of remote communications with regional employees, clients, suppliers and partners, providing a possibility of carrying out video conferences of HD quality in the presence of Internet connection from 512 Kbps.

VideoMost supports interactive group video conferences up to 50 users in 1 conference, with a possibility of additional broadcasting to 500 people, works on the servers controlled by the client, ensuring easy administration and information security of the company. The possibility of moderation and record of conferences, joint work with documents, a text chat is provided in a product that increases efficiency of interaction and productivity of collective work.

2015: VideoMost passed test with Infotecs

On December 15, 2015 the Spirit company and Infotecs company announced end of system testing of VideoMost on virtual networks, under protection of ViPNet.

According to the statement of the companies, sharing of VideoMost and information security tools ViPNet helps to create secure systems of a video conferencing, providing safe data exchange, voice, video and documents according to requirements of FSB of Russia and FSTEC of Russia for data protection of limited access, in geographically distributed networks and information systems.

Within testing specialists of the companies tested the VideoMost 5.0 software product on different communication channels, turning on Wi-Fi also Ethernet, different OS, including under management Windows 7, Windows 8 and on mobile devices under management Android.

Testing showed high-quality work of the VideoMost software product in network with enciphering of traffic of ViPNet on the basis of GOST. During testing it is not recorded the failures or losses reducing quality of video and audio during the video conferencing session.

Data protection during the sessions of video conferences and joint work with documents is important for corporations, but especially public institutions where leaks directly threaten security of the country are concerned by it. Testing showed that Infotecs and VideoMost are ready to provide transition to the Russian HD systems of video conferences in the closed networks for a long time and to ensure safety of transmitted data in the state organizations of the Russian Federation for import substitution of software.
