Shumak Vladimir

Vladimir Shumak is a specialist in the field of information security support. Before arrival to LETA company Vladimir Dmitrievich Shumak held a post of the CEO of Zashchita informatsii Ltd (since 1996), and before worked at different positions in the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (the last position – the chief of inspection division). Vladimir Shumak ended a number of rates in information technology field and information security. Has long-term experience of the leading work. It is awarded with a medal of State Technical Commission of Russia "For strengthening of the state information security system" 1 degrees and a distinction "For merits in data protection".

In LETA company Vladimir Shumak headed department of certification and license work which main objectives is work, the services connected with rendering:

• on certification (audit, conformity assessment) of information systems on compliance to requirements of the state and industry regulators for information security;
• on preparation of the organizations for obtaining the licenses of FSTEC of Russia for an implementation of works connected with activities for technical confidential information protection, and FSB of Russia on an implementation of works, connected with use of cryptographic (cryptographic) tools.

Vladimir Dmitrievich Shumak was born in 1952. In 1974 graduated from the Kiev highest military engineering college of communication. He is married, brought up the daughter and the son.
